I love the philosophical battle going on here. The worth of human life VS all other life VS all matter in the universe. Is human life truly anything meaningful at all when we are so tiny? It's such a simple question that cannot be definitively answered, and I hope this conceited alien thing gets the shit beaten out of it. When you can't answer with definitive logic, you have to answer with fists. Lol
Also, seems Clone Kei is completely for Reika now. I guess he didn't truly know what he had until he lost her.

Pointless chapter...
Sure, humans are things. This is not news really so I don't see what's the big deal with the aliens. Unless the aliens are shown to be some 11th dimensional spiritual entity living on a higher plane of existence, they are things too. So what is the point lol?
The point is that if we're all meaningless, then everything you love and believe in, everything you feel and are passionate for, is worth as little as a speck of dust flowing in the wind. That makes the value of life so small. It justifies so much catastrophe and shits all over any sense of justice.
People in our culture are so used to nihilism, of putting our lives down to such a low level of importance. We need to stop that or else our civilization will end up as ugly as the hedonistic Osaka team (or the team that was fucking the giants and smoking pot right before they went to the room with the "Truth"). We only become "things" when we no longer value the beauty of life. End up as depressed, selfish, disgusting "things".
