Gantz Chapter 371 Discussion

  • #2
I wonder if it is truly "god" or merely a being with the gantz ball power. Since gantz balls don't create life but merely recreate what previously existed, this create has to show me that it truly merits being a god as oppose to a really knowledgable alien scientist.

Well, this explains how Gantz was able to revive people. Or er, at least showed us that they have the technology to basically retain a complete clone of someone with their memory attached.

The startling matter that it maintains the personality/soul/memory of the person is pretty damn cool. And of course, they just had to kill all of them to show a point. Really liked these 2-3 chapters.

Perhaps the revelation is basic. But what more can you expect? Anything other than basic will be criticized for being convoluted or nonsensical. After all of this, I feel the explanation was just right. It wasn't convoluted, but in this world, it is their "truths".

Pointless chapter...

Sure, humans are things. This is not news really so I don't see what's the big deal with the aliens. Unless the aliens are shown to be some 11th dimensional spiritual entity living on a higher plane of existence, they are things too. So what is the point lol?

Fue bello que todos se reencontraran por un segundo, pero por desgracia no duro. Adiós viejo, Mai, Kishimoto, y Reika.

Well didn't expect the other black haired woman though from the beginning of Gantz. But damn and they're all gone again...annoying to know they got blown up.

I guess Kurono will die now in hsi fit of rage....considering he's not the real one....making it so there's only one them left in the end probably?

I don't think he'll be able to take that creature out...or not his own at least. But that would be nice.

Ye, it's pretty obvious that Oku had other plans regarding the Vampires, but scratched those halfway through. Same goes for the character of Kurono Akira.

But to give a real answer: I don't think the "Humans-are-so-unimportant"-Alien is the "final boss".

o wow they really brought some important characters back to live just to kill them moments later, the author really went there

this advanced civilization really is intriguing, there are not gods but they seem to have achieved a higher plane of existence, based on technology alone? i don't think the author needs to explain too much since it might get convoluted

i really like these beings and their no fucks given attitude

Damn. As soon as I saw all of them revived, I knew the outcome would be bad.

20 bucks says god is gonna be a total dick and kill those guys he just revived to prove how meaningless their lives and how easy they break

I'll take you up on that offer. I prefer cash but a written check should also suffice.
