Lol I said in the last chapter thread that Kei will never love Reika. I'm going to stand by those words to an extent. I still think that if she didn't die, he would have continued to long to be with Tae. But... the human heart is complicated and romantic love can exist for more than one person, so he did have a place in his heart for Reika, too.



Or I could be entirely wrong and Reika was his one true love all along. But it sure didn't seem that way to me. Then again, the entire subplot of Kei being cloned by Reika was extremely half assed to begin with.

Tae is a great girl. Sure she's normal but that's her charm. She's feminine and is to be protected and in turn she will love Kei unconditionally.

There's something about the homeliness of Tae that I really like. Similar to Nagisa Furukawa from Clannad. They're "unexceptional" but their love and kindness are wonderful. Yeah yeah, Tae could get jealous of other girls being with Kei -- and perhaps justifiably so (Kei was pretty close to cheating on her with Reika tbh). So she wasn't perfect. That's also what I like about her, that she has flaws.

I guess I wish I had a girl like that, and I think that's what the mangaka was going for with her character.



Reika is (was) a stupid, selfish bitch. She could fight though and had big boobs so of course people would love her... and I think that's what the mangaka was going for with her character.

Is it just me or does the art in this chapter just look so horrible?

Didn't really time it, but something like that I guess.

Besides Izumi, she's the only "main" character that I wanted to see die.

Oku ran out of ideas where to show the weak spot for this monster so he just jumped to the end.

That was actually pretty damm sad, especially that she died not knowing that Kei would've loved her back if not for Tae. Reika had her flaws, but also many, many good points. So that was still pretty damn tough to watch. Will also miss her banger body :(
