You're forgetting how much of a wuss Inaba was in every other mission he's been part of, not to mention that he tries to feign some sort of superiority when in reality, he has nothing to show for.

At least he did something before he died. But really, I'm not sure how anyone can survive apart from kurono (obviously) since these Angels rip apart limbs with little to no effort.

yeah I'd like the old man to come back too. But the scene with him seeing his wife again proves that he won't be.
