The suit really does work and his day turned around because of it! He got to live another day and he got such an useful item out of the survival game he played. I'd say that going through something that dangerous is arguably worth it at least for now since they would've been dead anyway.
Well he got his ass kicked, almost, however I do feel that Kei is going to let this all go to his head and it will all come crashing down on him later. Anyways wanted to see that head honcho get a tooth ripped out too.
