Elfen Lied Chapter 85 Discussion

This was a very long and great chapter! That tragedy that happened to her and her one and only true friend aside from Kouta actually made me feel really sorry towards Lucy for once. So that was why she was so furious towards Kurama. He shot her friend and wasn't able to save her even after Lucy turned herself in.



Nana's being doubted heavily by Yuka's mom and Kurama's too insane and damaged to recognize her as his daughter anymore...



It's quite surprising to see the doctor and Barbara survive in the exact same way the real Mariko saved Kurama though. Lucy's caught like what Anna predicted.

Why is the Mom so chill with the situation LOL. "Huh didn't know yall were hiding a murderer. Look at all that blood and death."



Still feel like this manga is just full of overdramatic about faces. Nana's dad suddenly calling her a test subject like that. It's just bad/juvenile writing.

Nice chapter. Shows how Lucy is captured by the Chief Kurama.

nice backstory chapter, was always wondering what the hell was going on there when it was shown in the anime. good to see the questions clear up.

the flash back was the only good thing

                        Woot, that was a long read, and an enjoyable one at that. This chapter covers 'episode 10.5', or the Elfen Lied special, although I felt the manga went into much more depth with this portion of the story than the anime did- like most of the aspects of the storyline.
