To me it looks more like she just never bothered with techniques in her awakened form because she was so OP that she didn't have any need for them.
You might be right on that, but I get the feeling there's something else to it, otherwise she could have just pulled her sword out of herself without having to go through the trouble of taking human form and still have beaten Riful 2.0.

If she could use full genetic potential inside her then she would need nothing more than Teresa flesh and blood, unfortunately for her she is neither a Zerg nor a Tyranid and her options are far more limited...
My logic on this assumption is that she's probably never actually tried to tap into Theresa's strength on purpose yet. it took her this long to use the #2 sword arm & Techniques more than once or twice per day without losing control of her arm, and she's still not on the level of the original, so I get the feeling that in order for her to tap into Theresa's actual genes, she'd have to go through something similar to another partial awakening. I'm probably wrong, but It just feels like it would be possible, not to mention it would be less of a pull than most other scenarios I can think of.

For a human he is already a very powerful badass (quite possibly The strongest human in the story) and he can't become any stronger without changing into something that isn't human. I don't really want it to go into that territory though, him gaining some quick power-up would go against the laws of the setting and degrade the story into a different kind of shounen. Unless he would become a warrior only to awaken in the end but somehow I don't see that coming.
I agree with that, and I hope ne never actually has to change since he's already strong enough to take down average youma without any real trouble.
That's also why I doubt think this story'll take the "Claire fully awakens" route, since the only real ways I can see to resolve it without going full tragedy would be using plothax, and this author doesn't really do that too often.
