Wow. I've seriously stopped caring. How unfortunate since I used to be in love with this series.

These last chapters are just some super powerful being showing off against another super powerful being. Nothing seems interesting to me. The fights progress like there are saiyans involved.

Now having said that, I do feel things are dragging a bit and I'm looking forward to some actual resolution to the fights in the next chapter or 2, instead of more "OMG, she got even stronger" Prisiclla is already strong enough as is before we add even more power to the mix.

The first time someone commented about Priscilla regenerating her wounds in an abnormal way was in third Extra Scene back in volume 14 ->

so her "immortality" isn't neccesarily a new power.

On the other hand that god-like power of creation... If this was what you were reffering to then yea, it is kinda pushing things a little too far...

If Dae's explanation on why Prisicilla's power borders on the divine is correct, where does that leave Teresa? She was all about keeping her power and emotions in check, always self possessed (except when Claire was involved) and yet nearly everyone can agree that she is one of the most powerful Claymore of all time.

So? Two extremes. It seems people either like this chapter for the twist or dislike it because of the hand wavy argument Daae gives. I personally love it, but at the same time Daae's reasoning isn't 100% satisfactory (twins, Ophelia etc.) What do you think?

If Dae is partially mistaken (or else he is for some reason bullshitting Rubel on purpose) then it would be ok but if "hatred for youma" is supposed to be a key factor in deciding the strenght of a warrior... Then I'm not buying it. If it was hatred, anger or madness in general then maybe but this is too specific. And what about the fact that Claymores are living beings whose feeling change in intensity? Their power should be going up and down all the time depending on the situation but this is not how it seemed to me... I hope the author will put some more effort into this theory so it will start making sense.

Well Cassandra turned into Priscilla because of the hand that Raki had and the organisation found. They put it somehow in Cassandra and that's how you create Priscilla!

This chapter wasn't that special and why do we have to wait that long again? :(

I have to admit that i like Octavia! She is awesome and she has a beautiful awakened form! I think this form is better than her real one :P

I thought it was kinda stupid, not quite the answer i was hoping for when it came to answer about Priscilla's power.

My hope was that Priscilla had been give the flesh and blood of an old and powerful being from the Organizations homeland, which would tie in and create another opening for development for a future plot line to take part there.

Dae pretty much said Priscilla had limitless power and if Priscilla merged with Casandra she would become stronger. My question is how do you become stronger then limitless? Is it like like infinite +1?

Side Note: What i would have like is an explanation of how his face is like that and why all the man in the organization has it.

I'm pretty sure Casandra became Priscilla because the organization used Priscilla's arm they took from Raki to create the three new Abyssal Beings. They were able to create them because of Priscilla's intense hatred to Youma, which has now given her the power of creation. They said that she isn't just regenerating, but creating her new limbs. And since Cassandra consumed Roxanne, Cassandra now has double of Priscilla's essence in her, allowing Priscilla to take over. Anyone agree? Or have I just become wildly lost?

Nah, it sound about right.

Anyway, prediction time. I wonder if Claire will beat Priscilla using the emotion that conquers all, love. Or revenge, your pick. Because although Claire hates youma, she joined the organization to get revenge for Theresa, someone she loved. She loves Raki too, and Jean. And her friends... hmm. I don't think hatred of youma is the only thing that makes a Claymore stronger. I can't wait to see how the Claymores actually beat Priscilla, if they can at all.

I'm affraid that the solution the author is going for is even shallower - Priscilla "infinity" status can be removed by Raki if he will be somehow able to use their close relationship to suppress her self-hatred that is the source of her power. Just thinking about that kind of ending gives me a headache but Claymore is a shounen so...
