Priscilla already talked about her past way back in chapter 23, saying things like, "I loved my papa...give him back..." and "But then I saw him eating my sister's guts...he had already eaten the guts of my mama and brother..." and "I loved him so much...so I killed him!" prior to fully awakening.
Those snippets provide enough detail concerning Priscilla's past and what kind of person she is.
So illustrating it seems a bit redundant.
This chapter basically told the audience what they already knew.
