This chapter basically told the audience what they already knew.



It's a flashback of flashback to remind readers who Priscilla was because it's well over three years since that infamous arc.

Speaking of that, I give no shit about Priscilla's past, any other Claymore can have more tragic back-story than that whiny smug bi*tch. Hell, even Ophelia's past get more of my sympathy. I'm glad that Claymore is one of those manga that can make me fully detest the antagonist without any reservation. Not a "deep" villain in any case but rage-inducing. In the other hand, Ritful 2.0 is really cool. Please, don't let her die.

                        Now we know past of Priscilla. When she's won her inner battle we'll see Priscilla versus Riful. It'll be interesting to see Clare's reaction.

What did they mean by "awaken again"?

I thought that Priscilla's past would be a lot more exotic. As HellDher said, it's not really that different from that of other Claymore's. In any case, showing this scene now means that Yagi means business. How Clare and co. will cope with Priscilla is beyond me.

Finally getting some more Priscilla backstory. I'm sure there is more to it considering what that one dude said at the end.

Unlikely. By the time of his death Priscilla was in her teens so if he was killing once per 2-3 weeks that village would be wiped out if he was at since before her birth. He was probably taken over several months prior to this event at most.



Just wondering - am I the only one who is rooting for Priscilla ^^

Though this chapter was a letdown, especially since we already knew Priscilla backstory (she revealed it herself in the chapter 23). Wasting over half the chapter on a detailed flashback no one is interested in... As if the story progression wasn't already slow enough :/

As for the thing that is fighting Priscilla now - that is most definitely not Riful. Whoever or whatever it is there is little doubt that it is male.

I think Priscilla's past should have been told earlier in the manga, so to have a better clue of her.
