@Wind_Falcon Sorry bro, but you don't know what you're talking about!

I'm not going to pretend I know why Claymore has come to an ABRUPT ending, but it sure as hell was NOT because of sales!

Claymore was a BIG title in Japan just as it is here in America, and unlike you, I can show my work.

^Here you can see Volume 21 reached almost 100,000 copies in it's FIRST WEEK of sales.

100K copies is a great number for manga, also, consider the fact that it was ahead of other big title manga such as Beelzebub, Kiss X Sis, Pandora Hearts, and Rosario + Vampire II.

Now the only reason I'm going to ONLY post one volume sales is because that was the latest one, thus it is the most relevant to show.

However you can see here more proof that Claymore was constantly in the top 20 in sales in terms of copies:

BTW, I recommend everyone here on MAL to get their anime/manga news from Anime News Network they are BY FAR the most reliable and trustworthy when it comes to anime news.

MAL is NOT a news site, and the fact they still haven't reported on Claymore is quite telling.

Wait what the hell how is this the ending. They just opened a whole new can of worms with the whole dragon race, this can't be the end of the manga. If it is then that is the most bullshit ending I have ever seen.

What i was thinking, they introduced a new species, leave claire with what's her name in that blob and just end it.

Whoa! Didn't expect that!

Well, I for one hope that there is a continuation series much like Rosario and Vampire or Genshiken!

Possible looking at what the Claymore girls are gonna do about the crazy dragon race over on the continent!

You could have cited the source of the news instead. This is probably the most solid statement to date, since it was from a related publisher. Really keeping my fingers crossed for another chapter soon...

if it has ended, why info says it's stil being published? MAL moderators show stupidness for another million time really

I've heard about the continuation thing as well, though I'm not sure what it will entail. I still have no idea where the story could possibly go from here.

LOL. MAL moderators do not work in Square Jump and if there was a big news beforehand then you wouldn't have to see these surprised ending posts everywhere.

the point is they work with some shitty anime and manga and completely ignore some things like that. Many titles that ended long ago are still publishing or airing according to MAL info...

Moderators are not required to read/watch every single thing listed here on MAL. It's users who actually do most of editing work. Moderators job is to approve those edits after checking. Probably someone had already submitted total chapters for Claymore and it will take a bit more time for approval..

I haven't seen a series which is already ended but status is publishing or airing. If there is, you can just post in database section and someone will change the status.
