Claymore Chapter 109 Discussion

personally, Clare (and the Destroyer and Priscilla) is "out of the picture" now.



this is how I see the rest of the story:



Clarice+Miata may or may not run after the Ghosts to join them. But, unfortunately, Miria is indeed dead, but they find Raki instead before he's "changed/corrupted" by the Org. Maybe the Ghosts destroy the Org or not (would the Ghosts be able to be ruthless, or are they going to have the same "compasion" problem that Miria had....hmm). The Ghosts tell Raki about Clare and bring him back to Rabona. Raki is somehow able to help Clare (and Raki or Clare or all of them are somehow able to do something, whatever it may be, about the Destroyer and Priscilla). "happily ever after..."



another possibility... while the Ghosts are at the Org... Clare+Destroyer+Priscilla get "freed/escape" and at least the Destroyer destroys Rabona, and maybe Galatea, Miata, Clarice (if they stayed at Rabona) get killed or not....

what can take place with Clare+Destroyer+Priscilla:



1. they stay sealed/trapped/merged together and they ALL slowly rot to death.

2. Clare is able to de-Awaken/convert/"save" Priscilla back into a Claymore

3. Priscilla is physically unbeatable, so Clare battles Priscilla in that mind-world, and defeats her there, which kills Priscilla in the real world.

4. in mind-bonding with Priscilla, she gets the memories of Clare+Teresa, including the truth of why TEresa killed the bandits-humans, and realizes that it's not Teresa that's evil but it was/is the Organization, and she deeply apologizes to Clare, and they possibly work together to destroy the Org...

5. Galatea takes it/them to the sea and drop them into it, and they ALL drown to death (lololol).

6. they get freed/unsealed however and in whatever combination.

7. etc...

Isley was an abyssal, where Prisc is a super powerful awakened. its hard to tell who the 7th is but i suppose we get to find out in January. Damn, why are they skipping December....those bastids...

didn't realize you were saying that in reference to not actually being shown Miria actually being shown hacked to pieces to actual death. again my apologizes.





"evidence" for Miria's death:



1. Miria is presumably hacked to pieces to death, shown in chapter 107.

2. chapter 109 seems to unfortunately confirm this, through the scene of the calm and dialogue of/at the Organization HQs, as they say the "incident" has been dealt with.

3. Galatea says she no longer senses Miria's yoki, and bluntly says that Miria is probably dead in chapter 108.

4. Rubel's dialogue (his "cruel eulogy of Miria" speech) and body language (such as pulling down his hat, as presumably Miria is hacked to pieces with her severed arm/hand shown flying)

5. the "one" that the 5 Ghosts (+Dietrich) bring back could very well be RAKI, and not Miria.... as Galatea hoped in saying to them in ch 109



"evidence" for Miria still being alive:



1. chapter 109 seems to suggest that Miria is alive and that the 5 Ghosts (+Dietrich) is going to try to rescue her.

2. we don't actually see Miria being "medically pronounced/shown killed", all we see is an arm/hand. So, for all we know, they could have sliced-cut up Miria, but not actually killed her.

they really believe they can challenge the organisation with 7 people that sound like the next suicide mission.

Oh Deneve(and the others) please bring back Miria alive!!

Hmmm- every chapter leaves me with somewhat more respect for Deneve-





...lol and i hope i'm not alone in thinking that the grown up Raki's kinda cute-

Miria used a replacement no jutsu with another body(that looks just like her) before getting hacked into many pieces and then got away before anybody realizing it.  she wanted everyone to believe that she is dead, so can move around freely without anybody noticing her.  Like they say, you have to fool your allies to truly fool your enemies.  Remember, she is actually a good strategist and her latest actions would make more sense in this case.
