Claymore Chapter 109 Discussion

ch 110 is coming out in DEC., not Jan.
(for whatever reason, in Japan, they'll say the next month when it's really coming out the month before, lol)
Claymore comes out EVERY month, usually on the ~ 1st - 6th day of the new month.
I don't think Claymore has ever skipped a month yet.

the only reason that Yagi might skip a month, is if its the last chapter, the grand finale, and Yagi needs the 2 months to write and draw it, lol
Yeah, I don´t know why, but when it says "January Issue" it comes out at December. I have the idea in my mind that claymore was on hiatus, but I can be misunderstanding with other manga...

it was some chapters ago.
Raki was in the western land (Luatrec), in Ticheri town, looking for Clare with Priscilla, when (thanks to Clare, the fool) the Destroyer "emerged" onto the scene, and shot out its first volley of huge projectiles.
Priscilla pulls Raki out of the way just in time as a second later a huge projectile flies right past where Raki was standing.
Unfortunately the manga completely skips what happened in Ticheri town, though we have some speculatory clues given later in the following chapters:
Priscilla said she was still hungry, after having eaten the humans, which is partly why she flew off to go feed on poor Infected Awakened Beth.
Raki has two small projectiles in his left shoulder (which come/are shot from the Destroyer's hellcats)
the next we see of Raki, he's impaled in his left shoulder by two small projectiles, and Priscilla has flown off (to Infected Awakened Beth, killing Awakened Alicia+Beth, to Riful+Dauf, killing Riful, to Clare+Deneve+Helen, killing Dauf, to Clare+Deneve+Helen+Destroyer, and finally to being engulfed/trapped/sealed by Clare-Destroyer, lol), and to make matters worse, Dae's retrieval unit discovered Raki, and Dae is having his retrieval unit taking Raki back to the Org's HQs., where he finally arrives at in ch 109.

actually it was BECAUSE Priscilla fasted/didn't eat (for Raki, as he obviously didn't like humans being killed and eaten up), THAT Priscilla shrunk in size to ~ half the height of adult Raki.
what is strange though:
Isley ALSO fasted (for Raki), yet he didn't seem to shrink in size at all, lol.

just thought of this:
maybe Priscilla's shrinkage had nothing to do with her fasting, but rather that SHE (CHOSE TO) CHANGE her size in order to become "Raki's little sister" whith Isley being her "dad" as she tries to recreate a "human" family while they look for her real family (which is long dead, eaten by a normal yoma, lol) in the southern land Mucha, where her home town, Musha, is located.

didn't realize you were saying that in reference to not actually being shown Miria actually being shown hacked to pieces to actual death. again my apologizes.
"evidence" for Miria's death:
1. Miria is presumably hacked to pieces to death, shown in chapter 107.
2. chapter 109 seems to unfortunately confirm this, through the scene of the calm and dialogue of/at the Organization HQs, as they say the "incident" has been dealt with.
3. Galatea says she no longer senses Miria's yoki, and bluntly says that Miria is probably dead in chapter 108.
4. Rubel's dialogue (his "cruel eulogy of Miria" speech) and body language (such as pulling down his hat, as presumably Miria is hacked to pieces with her severed arm/hand shown flying)
5. the "one" that the 5 Ghosts (+Dietrich) bring back could very well be RAKI, and not Miria.... as Galatea hoped in saying to them in ch 109
"evidence" for Miria still being alive:
1. chapter 109 seems to suggest that Miria is alive and that the 5 Ghosts (+Dietrich) is going to try to rescue her.
2. we don't actually see Miria being "medically pronounced/shown killed", all we see is an arm/hand. So, for all we know, they could have sliced-cut up Miria, but not actually killed her.
No problem, I didn´t specify all from the beginning, so no need to apologize ^^
Thanks for the lists of evidences for Miria´s status, the dead side is winning, for now... :P

EEEw! Whatever that thing is, Clare can't be comfortable in there. Apparently if you free Clare, it will free Priscilla as well. Yeah, I would take my time solving that puzzle. That's a Pandora's box if I ever saw one.
Yeah, and it's laying just outside Rabona... They should take it along with them and open it somwhere near the org HQ XD

in Japan they say it comes out in Jan., but for the online world, "Jan." actually means Dec.
So chapter 110 should come out Dec. ~ 1st-4th
