Miria Analysis/Assessment and Eulogy:
(taken from another site, where I posted these)
Here's my analysis of Miria's decision to attack the Org HQs in chapter 107 and of Miria herself:
1. HK's "Eulogy" for Miria:
remember, from the moment that Miria was holding dead/dying Awakened Hilda in her arms, Miria VOWED REVENGE on the Organization. Just as Clare (and Ophelia) VOWED REVENGE on Priscilla. Just as Deneve+Helen VOWED REVENGE on Isley (though, as we know, they settled for letting the AFs/AEs gobble up Isley, as they also cared about the others survival, especially Clare's, even in defiance of Priscilla, lol).
Miria is willing to risk her life against the Organization, just as Clare was against Priscilla (willing to partially or even fully Awaken, and then to seemingly merge with the Destroyer), as Ophelia was to "pass on the torch of her revenge against Priscilla onto Clare", as Deneve+Helen were possibly (or at least at first) willing to die against Isley.
Miria is/was on a suicide/kamekaze "run" (attack) against the Organization, which is why she's doing it alone (as well as possibly having to kill humans or Claymores as well).
Yes, Miria's acting out of character, Miria's acting impulsively... just like Clare... LOL, but, this was her one chance, one oppertunity, one opening to do so, to strike at the Organization... or so she thought... Unfortunately... the Org wasn't actually vulnerable...
(makes me wonder if the Org intentionally made itself seem weak and vulnerable to lure/bait an attack on them, so they could kill their enemies... I mean why try to find your enemy when you can bait/lure them to come to you and into a trap as well...)
Isledebanas' response:
Even when Miria acts impulsively she still should have her intelligence. She has always been thoughtful and patient before. Miria is aware of the Org and what kind of tricks they had. She just recently learned from Dietrich that they have even more tricks that she never knew of, and those are just the ones that Dietrich told through Helen and Deneve. What in the world was she thinking to go there? The reasoning is poor and even Galatea said so and that all that awaited her was death. The point was Galatea couldn't do anything to stop her if she did she would get sliced up too. That whole slicing is even worse than what people supposedly think Clare did to Yuma.
This proves a theory I always had that Galatea is actually somewhat more intelligent than Miria. Part of intelligence is the ability to use knowledge that you have. Miria completely failed here. I did somewhat believe it to be true, but the extent of this is just too much.
HK's "Eulogy" for Miria continued (LOL):
Well, Miria herself, said for them all to go do whatever they need to do BEFORE THEY launch the attack on the Org, as it could very well be their deaths.
Clare and Deneve+Helen followed Miria's orders, but Miria herself violated her own orders, going off to take on the Organization all by herself, though she had a noble reason for doing so, even if it might have been strategically foolish, it was in caring about the others, and this is Miria's character. Miria has always cared the most about the other Claymores, more so than being calmly and intelligently rationale. Though, this has all been analyzed by Miria I'm sure, and she decided that with all of this and the Org's seeming vulnerability (with these new AFs/AEs away feasting on Isley and Alicia+Beth away as well), that it was the best most intelligent most rationale decision to attack the Organization all by herself, so she doesn't end up sacrificing the other Claymores (Ghosts) or having them to do what they shouldn't have to do (killing humans or other Claymores).
Personally, Miria is acting completely as she should as Miria should be acting. As much as she seems to be acting impulsively like Clare seems to act, Miria (and Clare too!) actually aren't acting impulsively, but extremely intelligently and rationally!
2. Miria's death: the IRONY !!!
Miria strived to protect and keep alive as many Claymores as she could, despite her YEARNING/CRAVING for REVENGE against the Org (she probably cares more about otehrs than do any of the other Claymores/Ghosts do), yet when she finally got her chance to get revenge on the Org, it was a mob of Claymores whom (seemingly) hack her into pieces, and not even the powerful Claymores at that... HOW CRUEL, hOW AWESOME, hehe !!!!!
I actually love how Yagi had her die... with her crying with that alienly happy face with those big open sparkly eyes of hers over "Hilda being alive" ...
brilliant! :D
--------------------------------------
More Irony:
Miria dying to an illusion... Miria.... Thee Phantom Miria.... whom moves so fast, she creates "illusionary phantoms" behind her... dies to an illusionary phantom of her past...
oooohh the irony!
awesome! Yagi. brilliant!
3. I got a question for everyone:
What exactly do you think was Miria's plan/objective anyways at the HQs?
was she there to kill the Black Coats, or just a certain Black Coat (like maybe Rimuto the leader or whomever, maybe Dae?)? If so, then why didn't she (there was Rubel, and 2 other Black Coats outside with her)? Or for some reason, did she want to kill the Black Coats without the Claymores having to see it?
was she there to destroy the HQs itself or maybe their research, or lab, or whatever possibly inside the HQs?
or maybe something/someone else...?
maybe the origin of the Yoma itself (if there is such a thing).
why did she even bother with shortly-temporarily knocking/slicing unconscious with the Claymores, why'd she even engage with them... in the first place... why couldn't she just ignore and speed past them... ???
etc.. ??
4. maybe she just couldn't bare being separated from Hilda any longer, and wanted to join Hilda in "heaven", lol.
Maybe, this was a fake attack on the Org HQs, when it really was merely Miria's own funeral preparation for herself, with her putting on her old Claymore uniform, she she could die as a Claymore, and then join Hilda in death / "heaven".
5. I see this (Miria's choice to attack the Org) very differently:
A. Yes, the Org had these new AFs/AEs creations, BUT they were away from the Org HQs...
B. Yes, the Org had Alicia+Beth, but they were just felt/sensed "rushing by Rabona" towards the West, away from the Org HQs...
C. The Org no longer had Galatea, Miata, and Clarice (as they were with Miria in Rabona, lol), and thus away from the Org...
D. The Org no longer had Dietrich (rank 8), as she was at Rabona briefly, then probably seen/sensed going west. Dietrich was away from the Org HQs...
E. Miria had already encountered the Org's rank 3, 5, and 9, and they were laugable, and these were the Org's rank 3, 5, and 9 !!! Miria should have nothing to fear from the remaining Claymores..
ranks 1, 2, old 3, 4, 8, and 47 are NOT at the Org HQs
ranks 5 and new 3 are nothing to worry about for Miria
-------------------------------------
so with all of this, it was Miria's one and only oppertunity to strike at the Org!
Miria's decision to attack was correct with what she knew. The Org HQs seemed completely vulnerable, weak, and unguarded. All of the Org's powerful Claymores/creations were away from their HQs.
Also, while going alone, might have been tactically stupid, she did so for noble reasons. She cared that much for the others.
Miria would probably have actually succeeded...
IF the Org didn't have the trainee Awakening Twins and Raftela.
This is NOT Miria's fault, as she didn't know that the Org could have had another Awakening Twins (in training) or Raftela (as NO ONE knew about Raftela... except Rubel... and the other Black Coats, of course too).
Miria's decision was perfect/correct with what she knew, unfortunately, due to what she didn't know, the Org HQs wasn't as vulnerable, weak, and unguarded as all indicators seemed to suggest...
6. About Miria putting on her old Claymore uniform:
who knows... lol
using it to sneak/trick is a good idea.
my own thoughts:
Miria went to destroy the Org (hopefully succesfully) and then planned to die/kill herself afterwards, to be with Hilda, lol.
Since Miria was probably planning to die after she destroyed the Org (or at least tried to detroy the org), she wanted to die as a CLAYMORE, so that's why she put on her old CLAYMORE uniform.
7. it might be like a soldier wanting to die in battle or at least with his uniform on... I see the same with Miria putting on her old CLAYMORE uniform...
Miria was probably thinking this:
"I WAS A CLAYMORE, WHOM TRIED TO KEEP MY FELLOW CLAYMORES ALIVE. THIS IS HOW I WANT TO DIE. THIS IS HOW I WANT TO BE REMEMBERED. THIS IS WHY I'M WEARING MY OLD CLAYMORE UNIFORM. BECAUSE I AM PROUD TO HAVE BEEN A CLAYMORE ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE WHOM HAS BEEN A CLAYMORE!"
8. the problem is, if not then, then never.... Miria also had to consider, that such an opportunity as this one, would never come by again, as well.
9. I doubt the Org would leave itself vulnerable, weak, and unguarded as it seemed to have been ever again, nor for that long either..
it was now or never for Miria...
(unfortunately, as we know... the Org wasn't so vulnerable, weak, or unguarded... in actuality, lol)
10. I'm sure Miria made this calculated risk, as I've tried to show it.
This was a now or never opportunity, as well as risky (as I'm sure she was worrying that the Org might indeed have some "secrets" still), but also so rewarding if she Org is indeed vulnerable, weak, and unguarded.
With all of these factors, considerations, and metrics, I feel Miria made the best decision that could be made. Miria made the right choice to go for it... and she probably actually would ahve been successful too even with the trainee Awakening Twins and Raftela... if she would have been able to bring Galatea, Tabatha, Miata, and Clarice with her!
Actually, the trainee Awakening Twins and Raftela, isn't that much of a "fortress/defense" for the Org HQs... it was enough for Miria going in solo.... but what if Miria took along the other Claymores in Rabona...
so, actually the Org was lucky... Miria went solo.
Though... maybe there's even more "Secrets"... beyond the trainee Awakening Twins and Raftela...
Rubel could always Awaken and pwn everyone, proving that I'm right that he's the real-true leader of the Organization, and a "god-being" of Awakeneds... hehe:D
