So with Clare being devoured, I think we know where her next big power up is going to come from.  I wonder if this will really be the big showdown between her and Priscilla that we've waited so long for?

It's will be ridiculous if even the destroyer can't at least make her life difficult. I mean Priscilla had her limits as a Claymore.

Yup, she had. But remember that she was practically sill little more than a trainee when she fought Theresa and Theresa herself said that she'll become infinitely stronger in the future, strong enough to surpass even her.

Monad said:
Why isn't there nothing can even have a decent fight with her as an awaken?

Her awakening just allowed her to tap into her full potential and then multiplied it, if Rigaldo read her power correctly during her battle with Isley then her physical form is like a shell that contains her infinite power inside and any wound simply opens path for this power to flow out, that is why she can instaneously recreate any lost part of the body and in the process deal even more damage to her enemy.

Monad said:
It makes you wonder how strong Teresa could have been as an awaken since she kicked Priscilla's ass easily when she was a Claymore.

It's a pity that we will never find out... Theresa who killed Abyssal One for sport while still holding back, her awakened form would be a sight to behold...

There is a good possibility that the author could actually kill Priscilla despite her being the main evil character until now since the story could take a different turn and focus in the outside world and the war with the dragonians.  Of course first the organization will be stopped.

I hope not, i would love to see Priscilla being set loose on the main continent ;)

I've heard from pretty reliable sources (other people whom know better then I do), that Claymore is probably going to be ~150 chapters.

we're getting pretty close to this (~2/3 of Claymore is done), but A LOT can still happen in 45 chapters, lol.

This does seem to be like the final battle though.

However, there's still a lot of loose ends to address as well.

the most popular fan-prediction, is that the manga will go to the continent and its Dragons or the Dragons from the continent will come to the island, and obviously something with/involving Raki happens.

There's also still the Organization on the island, which the Ghosts, especially Miria, wants to destroy.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Clare CAN die plot-wise, however I definately agree that whether she dies or lives, Yagi definately has to have a conclusion to Clare's (currently) 105 chapters of pursuing revenge against Priscilla for killing Teresa and dealing with Priscilla obviously, lol, as we can't have Priscilla killing everything on the island or beyond...

And then, the rest/end of the manga can continue with or without her, depending if Yagi has her die or not.

My only complain is that if this is the final showdown coming up soon, then what about characters that were introduced late into the series, such as Miata and Clarice and what about Miria's fight against the organization?

So this can't be the final fight, and it leaves completely clueless as to where the Hell is Yagi getting it at...

Good chapter, nonetheless... I love how wild and unpredictable this manga is.

32 pages, nice. The pace is slow a bit, though. If Clare is being devoured, then I wonder if she can get her real body back.

I agree with most of what's been mentioned, though have a few differences in opinion too.

here's my take and predictions:

1. There is still the Organization, as ALL of the 7 Ghosts left the northern land, in agreement with/at "toppling the Organization", but not killing the Organization's Claymores (if they can help it). Miria gave them "shore leave" to do whatever they still wanted or had left to do, as their battle against the Organization, might very well be their last. Unfortunately, none of them knew that Rubel would meet and coerce Clare to Awaken the Destroyer, and much much worse, nor the "return of Priscilla", resulting in the chaos in the western land...

though strangely, Clare, Yuma, and Cynthia didn't kill the two Black Coats, and just a little later, Rubel, in Lacroa town. Well, maybe they didn't want to ruin their surprise attack on the Organization, once they rejoined in Rabona

Galatea, Clarice, and Miata have joined the 7 Ghosts, after hearing Miria tell them about her investigations of the Organization, after the Agatha battle.

However, Galatea might truly have given up being a warrior, like Irene had.

Also, Clarice and Miata might be kept out of the fighting too. I mean Miria did tell Galatea to watch over them.

As the last thing that Miria wants is for Miata to Awaken, creating a "2nd Priscilla", which could happen on its own if Miata keeps fighting or especially if Clarice was to be hurt or killed in a battle, Miata would definately snap and Awaken

lastly, Dietrich as of chapter 105 is on the Ghosts' team, as her honor of debt/repayment (~"logically, since Deneve and Helen risked their lives for me and my fellow Claymores, in order to repay them, I must do the same, risking my life for them and their friends") comes before her loyalty to the Organization. However, I think that after Dietrich has helped the Ghosts ("repaying her debt" to Deneve and Helen), she will go back to her loyalty to the Organization, and thus be an enemy of the Ghosts.

2. there is the mentioning of the continent and dragons, not to mention the Organization's side there as well, to possibly deal with...

3. There's aso Raki as well, now, and whatever his fate may be.

--------------------------------------------------------

4. However, Priscilla must be "dealt" with first, obviously, otherwise she will annihilate the entire island. There was the Destroyer to deal with as well, but now Clare at least has control of it (if not actually merged with it as well), and is using it against Priscilla. Unfortunately, Priscilla still is shown far more powerful/dominant than the "Destroyer-Clare being. Maybe chapter 106 will show otherwise, but as of chapter 105, Priscilla is still supreme.

-------------------------------------

5. I'm still maintaining my idea that Clare will "de-awaken/revert" Priscilla back into an actual Claymore, as the way for "dealing" with Priscilla.

(if interested, I can give the details that I feel support this idea of mine)

Clare's already got so many spare parts from other Claymore's, I wonder how being part of this blob will affect her permanently.

The story is getting a bit slow for my taste.
