Flying things of leeking life, coming through

"my newest best understanding thus far:

1. as Priscilla said ~"So, that's just your fake body" and Deneve+Helen ~"Where's it's real body?", the Destroyer has a similar body to Riful+Agatha+Ophelia. It seems that the Destroyer's real body is that mass of "hell-bodies/souls" (which maybe has come/grown from the Destroyer's huge projectiles and its tentacles, and its hell-cats' small projectiles, stealing the life forces of its hosts), that is traveling along with/inside its huge tentacled "black oil" movement/attack.

2. Also, Priscilla has seemed to have been flying right towards it (the Destroyer's real body consisting of those "hell-bodies/souls"), as seen with Priscilla standing before it, and saying ~"I'll use my full power to crush you in a single attack"

3. lastly, about Clare.

Considering that the Destroyer attacked Clare (as Helen had just left Clare on the ground as she asked if Deneve was alright, lol), destroying Clare's lower body, and then hoisting her up in the air with Clare almost dead, I don't think there's a "mutual cordial" connection between Clare and the Destroyer.

It might be possible that something might happen between the two of them, but I'm not sure at this point. It's too confusing. The Destroyer destroys Clare's lower body, nearly killing her, and now it is lifting up her in the air. It would be strange for it to have nearly killed Clare and then they bond/merge together. Though, why is the Destroyer lifting Clare up into the air? Is it merely to kill Clare, ripping her into pieces, or something else (which wouldn't make sense as it had just nearly killed Clare destrying her lower body) ?

Clare had a good relationship with Rafaela, but this Destroyer is not Rafaela (all of Rafaela LEFT the Destroyer by going inside of Clare/Clare's head, because had Rafaela stayed, she'd, well her mind, would have been killed/consumed too). So, I really don't see there being anything between Clare and the Destroyer, I mean when the Destroyer awakened, Clare was going to be killed/consumed by the Destroyer if Rafaela hadn't helped Clare break her mind-link with it. Though, the Destroyer didn't really attack Clare as she physically escaped away from it (only sending a few tentacles at her).

I don't think Claymores/HAs can survive with their entire lower body missing (unlike Awakeneds with their bodies), so I think Clare is probably dying. Now if Clare Awakened, it would regenerate herself, as she gets her Awakened body. The problem is that Clare can't Awaken. Maybe her Awakening wedge/block/limiter is now broken from the Destroyer's attack on Clare, and she now can Awaken. I mean Dauf used the Destroyer's projectile to infect himself and regenerate himself. Could Clare use the Destroyer to regenerate herself? Or are the tentacles holding Clare up, different from the projectiles? There's also the possibility of Dietrich showing up with Cynthia and Yuma, and Cynthia+Yuma can try to regenerate/save Clare too."

*Clare is the Orochimaru (Naruto) of Claymore

*the Destroyer is now the Envy or "Father" humunculis (FMA:B) of Claymore

same with books.....

reading new book series and being caught up, and having to wait ~ a year for the next one to be written, isn't fun.

much better to read an old book series that is completed, allowing you to read the entire series with no waiting for the next book to be written.

something that confuses me:

originally when most people first saw the Destroyer's projectiles (which I think was when Deneve+Helen+Clare were fighting the hellcats, and Deneve got hit in the arm, which she ripped off and regenerated or was it Beth being impaled by the huge projectile, lol), we thought that they were stealing life force.

However, later thought and chapters would show kind of the opposite. The projectiles seemed to be sources of yoki, which resulted in Awakening (due to the extra yoki) and it tried to awaken the host in the image of the hell-cats (similar to Luciela's Awakened form/body). Especially in chapter 103, we see Dauf using the projectile to give him more yoki to regenerate himself, and come after Priscilla. He then uses the projectile's yoki to grew new hell-cat arms too.

so..... about the Projectiles, are they:

1. simply sources of extra yoki. "yoki capsules", lol. yoki pellets from the Destroyer, but have no continued connection with it.

2. are they somehow connected to the Destroyer, ONLY sending yoki from the Destroyer into its projectile-impaled hosts.

3. are they somehow connected to the Destroyer, ONLY sending yoki to the Destroyer from its projectile-impaled hosts. (this is however 99% proven incorrect)

4. are they somehow connected to the Destroyer, and the yoki can go both ways, between the Destroyer and its projectile-impaled host

5. do these projectiles just deal with yoki, or do they also steal and/or give life force (like this new "black oil hell-bodies/souls traveling along with the huge tentacles").

about the new "black oil hell-bodies/souls traveling along with the huge tentacles":

does this life force steal, only work towards the Destroyer getting/taking the life force of its victims, or can the victim (if still connected/impaled by its tentacles, such as Clare, take the life force from the Destroyer instead into themselves?

She is turning more and more into the Frankenstain Monster, if it keeps up it is only a matter of time before she gets Rubel brain and crush the organization..

OK, jokes aside ;P I also can't see any other way for Clare to get out of this mess and it certainly would be the power-up that she desperately needs but personally I would prefer the situation to be solved differently, I don't want Clare to end running around with Teresa x 10 power because it will be either mark the end of the manga or end of a decent storyline. If Yagi-sensei comes up with a different way to solve this situation Claymore will become in my eyes better manga than it already is (and it is the best XD).

I agree. I trust Yagi will work things out pretty well though. If he does give Clare that power-up, then the only way I can see this manga having a great ending is if Clare dies at the end...or something. Wait, what?

I thought that the situation Clare is now in (a really hopeless one) looks simillar to battle between Priscilla and Isley> Where Priscilla used energy (yoki) from Isley to regenerate herself. Same thing might happen to Clare.

Nope. Priscilla didn't used yoki from Isley, she didn';t have to since her own reserves of yoki are practically unlimited. Clare don't have that kind of power and she can't do something like this.

Huh. I wonder how will Clare be healed. I think it would be impossible even for a defensive type, and Clare is an offensive one.  Maybe she will awake? I can only see this opinion for Clare to survive, though it'd mean she'll become a "bad guy".

Can she even awaken on her own though? Last time she tried it turned out to be an epic fail after all.

Maybe instead of Clare getting ate up she takes control of Luciella/Raphaella's body and gets ridiculously strong? Throughout the manga Clare's been taking abilities and body parts from other people, it wouldn't be too shocking if she took their body. Then that would mean that she would have strength that was somewhere near Priscilla's level (since Priscilla has to use full power to defeat the Destroyer) although she'd also have an awakened body.
