Wow... Just wow ...

Mako is now like Yuki when she was young.

She stopped going to school cuz Oka saw her wearing girl’s clothes...

And she still thinks Yuki is a boy xD

I like this chapter Mako is cute.

Edited: cuz I was an ignorant child who didn’t know much about the world. I’m sorry, I feel very ashamed that I wrote something like that.

Good chapter. With so much attention given to Nitorin and Takatsuki you often forget about the nine billion other characters in Hourou Musuko, so it's good to see a chapter focused on Mako. Good and surprising, as I would never have guessed Mako.

That said, I wish this chapter was more conclusive. The endings for Hourou Musuko in recent memory always seem so abrupt, and likewise, this chapter is no exception. I'd be very disappointed if the next one didn't focus on Mako, and more so disappointed if it didn't conclude and instead moved on to another character in the chapter that followed.

I like this chapter Mako is a cute * but I dislike how is he a gay *

really ? and u r reading a crossdressing manga ? lol maybe u liek traps ? only

well I dislike how it doesn't make sense nitori crossdress and wants to be a cute girl while

dates a girl. Nitori should be gay too. I bet he will discover his sexuality very late. Maybe with Mako ?

So for you it doesn't make sense that someone identifies as a girl, but is also attracted to girls?

Things that are ambiguous, up to now:

Anna's sexual orientation;

Takatsuki's gender identity;

Mako's gender identity.

Things that are not in any way ambiguous:

Nitorin's gender identity;

Nitorin's sexual orientation;

Mako's sexual orientation.

I flipped my shit when he said Yuki was a man :l

Good chapter overall, despite not seeing much of the other characters.

I wonder what that panel showing the hallway with the lights on in the bathroom after Shuu left his futon. Did he get aroused after the whole thing with Anna and thinking about Anna?

Even though I really feel for all the characters, Mako's situation always gets me the most. He struggles with his self-esteem because even though he likes wearing girly clothing, he feels he isn't cute enough. Takatsuki was able to embrace both her identity as a woman and her need to feel like a man, while Nitori is actively complimented on even when in women's clothing. Poor Mako-chan, he just wants some love too!

Why? If he really is a girl having to deal with being a boy, is it really all that gay?  Besides, what's the matter with being gay?

You seem to be forgetting the existence of lesbianism.  It happens WAY more in transwomen than otherwise.

All that aside, I really liked this chapter.  I've found it easy to get drawn into Shuu and Takatsuki's problems and forget about Mako.  I feel for him; it's hard to get confidence with transgender feelings as it is, but great big glasses don't help one bit.  It's unusual to see this sort of grumpyness from Mako too - his tendency to always surpress his issues in order to assist his friends really lends this chapter weight; getting to see his dissatisfaction for what it is was very compelling.

This chapter was pretty enjoyable. It seems like it's still kind of unclear if Mako identifies as trans* or not, but this chapter seems to indicate that he possibly is (I'm still not sure). In any case it's nice to see his perspective as a character that is LGBTQ but not traditionally attractive.

But Nitori IS gay, a gay girl. Psychologically speaking. Biologically speaking, he's a heterosexual boy. Sexuality and gender identity do not correlate. Shuu can identify as a girl and still love girls. It's a complex issue that Shimura's exploring here. You have to throw your conventional ideas out of the window to fully appreciate the series.
