Fairy Tail Chapter 545 Discussion

Ah it ended. I am unhappy with Gruvia as always but oh well. It feels rlly. Unnatural to me. Idk what mashima wanted with em but he sure failed for me. The outcome felt forced to me no matter what anyone says.

GaLe having a baby. NaLu best friend route. Laxus the mysterious figure route, still like MiraXus but CanaXus is actually very solid too, has me thinking.



I got a bit nostalgic there I guess but this trainwreck could be so much better ever since GMG arc. Ot even Tenroujima (started pretty strong, turned out on the disappointing side) Sun village arc was overall better but not enough as the meh-ness kept going. Anyways. I still love my favorite characters here. At least they are all happy. And I still love GrayLu yay. Their moments were always refreshing for me. The main reason I kept reading was them tbh. I adore their bond and think it had lots of potential, sad.

I don't think they were literally there.

Gruvia and most importantly Juvia deserved better. That 100 years mission was the worse part of the chapter. Hiro Mashima is a coward who can't even sail a ship who is already canon. He rather pull out of his ass a Mavis and a Zeref reborn.

Because of the last arc and this chapter I will change my score on FT from 10 to 1.

Seeing the random Zeref and Mavis look a like/ghost was so random and unnecessary.



Most ships never set sailed but at least best ship Gajeel x Levy did. Natsu essentially friend zoned himself LOL



Despite how bad the final arc was I'm sad to see this series end.

The current chapter count is correct, those extra chapters are collected in the volumes and they are read by people just like normal chapters are.







Understandable. And since I was using a quote from a game, it matters little.

For me it started with a 8/10 and ended now with 4/10.

HAHAHAHA this series is a total joke.

It was okay, I am really disappointed a lot of the ships did not become canon. I can expect the bad fights, I don't really care, I don't read Fairy Tail for the battles, I read for the relationships, and Hiro disappointed me.



Natsu and Lucy nothing progressed. I wanted a massive time skip, I wanted them to be married, I wanted the Naruto ending, and Hiro wussed out.



On the bright side, Erza and Jellal that ship is sailing, Gajeel and Levy not only sailing, but might have a first mate, and the dark horse one Erik and Kianna, Crime Sorciere is doing pretty well.



I do think the epilogue with the other guilds and the royal capital was fine. I don't know why king Fliore resigned or why master Bob resigned but whatever. And Anna still around that is kind of weird. Lucy and Anna didn't have much of a bond in the series which is a waste.



And just like I predicated, they pulled a Might Guy with Makarov, he didn't die, but he can't walk, so we at least we have that, I just wish he would retire and we get a new guild master.



So Zeref and Mavis they are back, but not clear what circumstances, was this reincarnation or just memory erasing. If they were reincarnated, they time travel is involved, or they aged quickly after reincarnation like Sailor Saturn, but who knows. But I guess they get a happy ending, Lucy and the others know who they are, even though they don't.



Well if you expectation was everyone being married and have kids, well you be disappointed, but if you are lower expectation, it is a good enough ending.



Anyway thank you Hiro Mashima for 11 great years.
