What do you mean by "lots of flavor"? I admit that there might be a possibility of Irene at least saving her daughter because she feels sorry or pity her but will not switch bodies with her because she simply cannot do that and "in the heat of the moment and through family?? (I didn't know through family was a power) will not change that and if the mangaka does that then I will drop this manga because that's the most dumbest plot/story idea ever and makes no sense at all, but then again this manga has been very bad lately....so you might just be right

I feel the same except for Gildarts. Want to see him smash August and go face to face with  Acnologia once again.



As for the chapter, it was ok but so bloody predictable. Can Mashima think of anything original or does he just want to copy paste crap from every other popular shonen?

Erza will be dying after taking on the meteor, Irene will pity her, swap bodies with her, Erza survives in Irene's body, Irene finally get's the body she wants and dies in it.

Surprised no one mentions how similar is Erza speeding up to stop the meteor is similar to what Saitama did in OPM.

I stopped reading this manga a few months ago, but since it was a new year and I heard Irene had finally confronted Erza, I was excited to catch up but I wish I hadn't.... now the only reason why I keep reading is to see a possible natsu vs acnologia fight (I'm guessing the reason why acnologia is not shown yet is because of the possible upcoming confrontation)



Its really sad, because even if I dont actually like-like FT (I just read it because its a weekly short read) I liked the character of Irene and her design, and now her fight-backstory is one of the most half-assed-bullshitiest fight-backstory

A great chapter from Fairy Tail.
