I always laugh at people who come up with Fairy Tail theories (especially how FT is going these days).
Mashima doesn't even think as hard as you theorists. Stop wasting your time writing novel-length theories when Mashima is just making up shit as he goes.
(In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Mashima takes some ideas from theorists and try to implement them somehow. You guys are doing the work for him).
Lol, that wouldn't be surprising for me too. In fact, chibi Zeref and chibi Natsu look EXACTLY like some of the fan arts.

But yeah, I agree that the quality has gone down a lot. Not saying FT was ever that good, but it was somewhat decent in the early arcs. For example, Laxus actually using a spell that is not a generic lightning blast or lightning punch(making many lightning orbs to prepare for taking out an entire town), Natsu having some creativity(using a flame jet to propel his arm and get indirect force to get around an anti magic barrier, and in general the fights just being more interesting/

So, people are debating on what they've read this chapter and what will happen next chapter. The two main theories people have are 1) Natsu becoming END. And 2) Natsu Dragonizing (which was shown before as a leaked image for the second FT movie). People may say Natsu dragonizing is wrong, but no it is not. Now, let me recap what I've learned up to this point after all this was revealed. Now let's go back to 'Natsu vs. Zeref' and '400 years' because there was more meaning to these chapters than just the fight and revealing of everything to Natsu.
Ok, first we are going to start with END. Now, back in Natsu vs. Zeref, Zeref revealed everything to Natsu, who didn't believe any of it and went straight for an attack. To show Natsu he wasn't lying, he took out the book of END and shot it, which caused Natsu to clutch at his chest and fall to the ground. He was able to get back up but Happy took him away before he could land the blow. But, what caught my attention later was that locket of him and Natsu back in 'Gray and Juvia'. If he was wearing it at that time (which he most likely was), then if he really wanted to prove anything, why would he not just show Natsu the locket? That's where it clicked. He didn't shoot the book to prove anything, he shot the book as a precaution. Shooting the book broke the seal on END's power (I say power because even though Natsu technically is an etherious, I'm not 100% sure END uses curse even though he is a fire demon). That "tumor" was really the sealed up power of END. The reason Natsu dropped to the ground clutching at his chest and lost all his magic was because of that. END's power expelled all of Natsu's magic so it could replace it with it's own power. But Brandish shrunk it and Natsu's body started regenerating his dragon slayer magic. But later she put it back to normal size thereby restarting the process. And now, next chapter, when that knife makes contact with Natsu's neck, it will melt.
Now, let's move on to the dragonification/dragonizing of Natsu. Once again we are heading back to 'Natsu vs. Zeref' but we are focusing on something a little different. Now, as we all know, Zeref was curious as to what Natsu was using to fight him and kill him. When questioned about it, Natsu replied with "this is the last of the power Igneel left inside of me before he died". We all just thought that was Igneel's gift to Natsu for all the years he wasn't there right? Wrong. Igneel used all his magic that he had left to fight Acnologia and there was no way he was naive or cocky enough to not use whatever magic he had left. So the question is, what was that magic? Since people completely skipped over this I'll restate it "We were inhabited your bodies to prevent you from turning into dragons like Acnologia. By creating ANTIBODIES using our MAGIC, there is almost no chance you will turn into a dragon". Do you see the bigger picture now? Those 10 months of training it took for Natsu to unleash "Igneel's power", was really him turning those antibodies into magic. And now, without those antibodies, Natsu has exponentially increased the dragonification process. You want more proof? Well going back to that leaked image I was talking about before, Zirconis (the jade dragon they talked to back in the Eclipse arc) stated Acnologia turned into a dragon in human form, being covered in scales and with claws and wings. This is what we see happening to Natsu in that leaked image. What's more, that was what the dragons were trying to prevent by creating those antibodies.
So to sum it up, during his year away, in 10 months Natsu was able to turn the antibodies made out of Igneel's magic into magic power that he used to fight against Zeref which accelerated his Dragonification. Then during the fight with Zeref, as a precaution, Zeref shot the book of END to break the seal on END's power within Natsu in case the power Natsu had was not enough. Later, END's power expelled all of Natsu's magic and started replacing it with it's own power. Brandish then shrunk that reserve of power and Natsu's body started regenerating his dragon slayer magic. When Natsu and Lucy opposed Brandish, she brought that reserve back to normal size and restarted the process of replacing Natsu's magic with END's power. Since Brandish did not put it back, it is safe to assume that reserve of power has had enough time to replace all of Natsu's old magic with END's power and that will be used against Dimaria.
As for how Natsu will control this power, that is another thing EVERYBODY completely disregarded. Natsu's scarf. Has nobody noticed anything special about it yet? Back on Tenrou when Natsu first encountered Zeref, he should have died when that black wave killed everything around and Natsu was caught up in it, but the scarf soaked everything up. Later when he lost his scarf, Acnologia came to the island. And once again in the Tartaros arc, Natsu lost his scarf and Acnologia once again made an appearance. Igneel did something to that scarf for an unknown reason. We have an idea why Acnologia made an appearance and that was when it was stated by both Mard Geer and Igneel that Acnologia showed up BECAUSE OF END. So from my perspective, it seems that scarf is going to play a crucial role in helping Natsu keep his sanity with END's power flowing through him.
So I will say this now. Incoming Demon Fire Dragon with blue/white flames.
