While this chapter was decent in terms of fighting, I hope Hiro does not take this "Ill do anything to protect my friend" into a romantic bond between the two.



Natsu would be better suited to marry/ get with Lisana. This will always be the original ship that I believe Hiro intended for originally.



Just like another major Shonen manga (Naruto) I think the main character would work well with a minor character (Hinata/ Lisana) rather than the popular ship (Lucy)

But Hiro WANTS Nalu to happen, which obviosuly makes ZERO sense while Lissana is alive in real life. I don't even know why Lissana is back, if he actually wanted Nalu to happen, Lissana should've STAYED DEAD

IIRC, he never wanted Nali to happen. The moment when Lisanna proposed to Natsu in their childhoold was an anime-only scene and his editor wanted him to bring Lisanna back.

Hiro cleaning the garbage out of his manga apparently. Also, an actual fight like this should've been on chapter 500, not here.

Wow I know Brandish is holding back, but you have to give it to Lucy, put up a good fight. Proves once again why is one of the better main female shonen characters, certainly way better than a certain pink haired character, but that is another topic all together.



Brandish is conflicted, she is kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, at this point doesn't want to hurt anyone, but can't find it in her to just betray her home land, and that is what differs this arc from previous arcs, I said it from the beginning of the arc, you are fighting a country not a dark guild. Brandish she is born into a country, so she some moral obligation to not betray them, more so if she was part of a dark guild something you join and not born into, I think if we are fighting a dark guild and Brandish was part of it, it would be more easier for her to change sides, so this conflict so more complexity than in the past.



I don't know what Brandish meant she was going to fight herself, was she going to commit suicide? At this point, I wouldn't put it past her.



And for a chapter titled, Mari and Randi, you don't see much or Brandish and Dimaria together, this is more of a Lucy and Brandish chapter than anything.  I guess Dimaria used her time magic to take Brandish down, and I don't believe for a second Brandish is in danger, after we have gone through in recent chapter, and I know Brandish is not a member of Fairy Tail so she doesn't have the same plot armor, but still she will be fine. I don't think Hiro would do that to Lucy. Plus I think Dimaria which would make her a hypocrite to what she just said,  but she has those conflicting feelings for Brandish, I think as mad as she is, I think she held back enough not to kill her.



Still looks like Lucy is screwed, how is she going to get out of this one, perhaps maybe Horologium will win the fight for her?



And did I call it or what, Dimaria said "are you the one responsible for corrupting my Brandish", told you Dimaria has some romantic feelings for Brandish, at least that hope is still alive.

Dimaria is seriously OP. How do you defeat someone who controls time? I don't think we're going to get another Ultear deus ex machina again. Will Holorogium appear to protect Lucy? Would Lucy get a Horologium star dress form?





I actually forgot about Natsu's tumour until this chapter.



What if, Natsu's END form is unlocked by that tumour? It is, after all, an anti-ethernano tumour. Didn't the Tartaros demons said that the world needs to be rid of ethernano in order to unlock END? That was why they hijacked Face to do it.



What if this anti-ethernano tumour inside Natsu sucks away enough magic to the point that END can be unleashed?



Anyway, now that Invel has been defeated, his spell on Mavis should be lifted. That means Mavis has regained control of her thoughts. Perhaps the next chapter is about her (probably with Zera's help) escaping from Eileen.

So now we get a Spriggan that kills another Spriggan.

And the list of stupid ways to kill off overpowered enemies grows longer.

Brandish is indeed a traitor, she healed up Natsu and still plans on healing him back after knowing that he's one of the greatest threats to her home empire, even AFTER HAVING NO OBLIGATIONS to save him, pathetic AF



Dimaria's loyalty and patriotism is commendable, she offed her best friend after knowing that she's a traitor, goes up to my 3rd fav Spriggan after Serena and Ajeel.



Ohh, Brandish's physical stats < Lucy's ............GREAT, so much for being a Spriggan........ (I know she can kill her, but she was only holdin back in using her abilities, not in physical combat)

Ohh, and ZERO worries about Brandish and Natsu, after Lucy beats Dimaria *magically*, Brandish is gonna heal herself up and then heal up Natsu. Totally no worries there :D



Well, to be fair, Lucy was using her star dresses to boost her physical stats and Brandish wasn't taking the fight seriously.

Not saying she would win, of course Brandish negs with mass manipulation magic.



But this means that GOI or even someone like Jura could blitz and kill Brandish. She won't even get time to cast her spell

Also this would be a good time for Natsu to go E.N.D.
