Like that stopped her before from winning...

I honestly have no real complaints about the chapter, not even with how Erza won.



Why?



Because she beat them with a single look, and that is fucking badass.  I really don't get the hate you guys are putting on it.



I feel that is probably one of the cooler moments of the manga so far, she's down and beaten to a pulp and she just stares at them and basically tells them "Fuck off losers."  And they fucking poof away with looks of sheer terror.

yeah. Illusions are still illusions and those historia have weakness too, and that depends on the heart of the affected mage. They keep saying it is a BS fight. But for me, it made some sense
