Hmm, well one happy way to end all this is to stick Zeref in a Lacrima with Mavis so they can be together again while not killing anyone. Natsu doesn't die, Zeref isn't killing everything so he's happy, Mavis gets her old boyfriend back, the main threat to Fiore is gone, and all they have to worry about is a murderous apocalypse dragon, a bunch of overpowered foreigners, and a shitton of unanswered backstory questions. And hey, the dragon and the foreigners might just take each other out.

Awesome chapter. So the reason they ended up in 777 was because it was the year with the most ethernano and Layla also opened the gate at the same time as Anna did, huh? But it doesn't explain how Layla died. Also what is Brandish's connections with Layla?



If all this was done just to defeat Acnologia, then he is more powerful than we all were expecting.



Wonder how FT will react them. Knowing them, they'll just consider this as BS coming from Zeref's mouth...look at Natsu and Happy's reaction.

I don't want this to happen. A bunch of teenagers defeating god with the power of friendship is a bit too much. If they do fight the death god, I hope they outsmart him in some way and so he allows Natsu to live but considering the fact that this is fairy tail that will never happen.

That, and Anksheram has no reason to personally appear before FT when he can easily curse someone like he did to Zeref.

He needed some excuse and he wrote Happy to be the closest nearby.

Probably because Happy is Natsu´s closest bond (lie to yourself as much as you want), it´s fitting that he´s the one to stop him from self sacrifice.



However Happy isn´t an interesting or compeling character which makes it a bore to watch when he gets serious screentime like this. It´s a character most people dont care about but the author forces him down your throat.

Too much revelation this chapter and Natsu lost his new power.Well just how will the guild react to this and all the 5 dragon slayers are just 400 years old...

Amazing chapter!!!!!!!!! Sooo many revelations....the relationship between Igneel and Zeref, and Layla and Zeref. Natsu finds out he's Zeref's brother and that he's from a different time. Finally found out the connection with.July 7, X777

And Happy....as much as I wanted to see that Igneel attack I knew Happy wouldn't allow Natsu to kill himself

The fuck are you talking about? He grabbed Natsu and flew off wiht him. Simple as that. Heck it's not like he wasn't harmed since we see his hands burning while he holds on to Natsu. =_=

Yes I do. I think you forget how fast Happy can fly and given his desperation in that moment he would surpass his limits to stop Natsu >_> Plus once Natsu leaped into the air he was much easier to maneuver
