Even Zeref, he don't know if he will die. But he just hope that he will die.
We all know Mashima is planning something here. It's just start of the war and if the emperor will die, IDK what to say about that.
Orrrrrrrrrr what if the 12 spriggans are all cursed people by immortality same as Zeref and Mavis. Nah.

Nah Igneel couldn't defeat E.N.D., and Igneel in his 'weak' state ripped off one of Acno's arm so...
Igneel couldn´t defeat E.N.D because he adopted him, he knows that Natsu is E.N.D but he didn´t knew a way of seperating the demon from Natsu, whatever it is.
Igneel couldn´t do it because E.N.D was a child that taught him to love children.

I like this power, but part of me is damn furious that gary stu like gray got to keep his father power up(just cause), yet for Natsu its obviously "one time only". Talk about unfair.
Also no way this is the end of Zeref.
Double standards applied by shit heads like CookingPriest nothing new. Plot armored shit faced gary stu Natsu is going to fail hopefully.
Natsu's powerup was convenient bullshit, and it was unfair how he constantly gets nothing but powerups. Gray's powerups were always be better than shit characters like natsu lol. Look at how convenient Natsu gets a random, fucking asspull of a powerup out of his ass from Igneel with zero foreshadowing.
Don't compare DeS a well written powerup from Gray to bullshit like Dragon king mode, a pathetic way to make a weakling like Natsu strong.
I don't get how any one can like this garbage chapter. It was a one slaughter fest of plot.

If Zeref will die for the next chapter. That will be a nice story. It's not a particular shounen story that "the-guy-that-everyone's-chasing-antagonist" (zeref) is not the true enemy. IRDK what to say. This will be a new plot twist if he will die.

I never believed for a moment that Zeref was the final boss of this story and I don't think Acnologia is either. Plus the fact that Zeref thanks LAYLA of all people in his last mometns also raises a truckload of questions.
People complaining about this only do so because they fell for the trap that Mashima laid out since the arc started. Final arc of the series my ass.
