I am crying tears of joy, what a chapter, I can't believe it, Seilah's back sort of, kind of. Hiro does listen to this fans, the way it was explained in this chapter, was a complete asspull and makes no sense, but I don't care, it is obvious he originally planned to kill her off and leave you forgotten, but she was a fan favorite, so what a creative way to bring her back. Yay. I don't care about the rest of the chapter, it in the words of Marin it gets a pass.

So Natsu is having trouble because he is holding back, makes sense, and it a great way to get out of a plot hole, people can't say when Natsu beats one of the big bosses, people can't complain how can he win when he had trouble with this grunt. Well played Hiro, well played.

Mavis better think of a plan quick, I thought they were going to surrender, but not far from that being an option if things don't turn around.

Lucy I know this is a weird situation, but why is she trying to start a fight if she doesn't need to. Brandish is the sloth of this group, if she wants to give you a break, take advantage, first Natsu, now Lucy, this girl is giving you a break, take it. Brandish is unpredictable, but she is in a good mood, don't antagonize her. Anyway is going to be fan service galore. I don't know if we will be able to see in the anime uncensored. Can't wait.

Great chapter, my girl Seilah is back, and if Mira is going to fight one of those female Spreggan, even more reason to be excited, it be Mira, Seilah and one of the female villains, OMG I am losing it. Thank you for bring back Seilah..  Why was Selah an asspull? Fairy tail members do not kill just KO so its reasonable offscreen moment

Yeah but it seemed Seilah killed herself.

I double checked, she did say to kyouka  that she was the last demon gate left, which would imply she died afer giving her energy

But I guess she didn't quite die yet... Mira to pity and absorbed her.... but weirder things have happed they were all drowned in toxic water but ended up fine no brain damdge

i smell some yuri hentai next chapter with Brandish and Lucy

Let´s be realistic.

What Hiro can do with this in a Shounen Magazine.

1.A twist of some sorts happen, Brandish is an ally or something else.

2. Lucy gets abudcted because that was Zerefs goal all along because we got to make Lucy important although she and her ability are boring as shit.

3. Talking in the bathtub, because no other location was suited making all forced as fuck fanservice filler just to relocate afterwards and have a proper fight with a random Lucy powerup.

Still wondering why Brandish is even giving Lucy the time of day.Assuming Zeref is going to have her attempt to capture Lucy as a hostage to lure out and anger Natsu, which may be integral to releasing END.

Why lucy?lol zeref dont know about lucy it should be makarov  and why do people like lucy to have a bigger role aside from beinv a main.

I agree. It's kind of disgusting how Mashima is only using Lucy to spike up Natsu. I really wished Lucy gets a character development... and a good one too. She's been growing in Fairytail, reason why she used to be my favorite, but now it's just -__- eh. Up until this chapter, Lucy is really getting on my nerves. She tries to fight when she doesn't have to... she's constantly crying and needing to be saved... sigh. Where was the time where she showed so much resolve?? Wendy is starting to be my favorite now. Her speech to Erza in the bath <3. So cute.

Your acting is ridiculous or you read this manga with your eyes closed.

Part of me wants to get hyped for this arc hoping to be at the level of Tartaros or the first few chapters of post-tartaros-timeskip.

The other Part of me says "no, shush, FT will asspull own everyone involved within three chapters"

Well, I did not expect for the manga to be released too soon so I was out in the net browsing for Mirajane (actually, fanboying already). ANd BOoM, Hiro gave her a scene. Ugh Im not so sure if I should be happy about her new satan soul. It's literally off-road now to what we assume of Mirajane's demons. And now that she has Seilaah, what? She's gonna throw books at the enemies? Ugh I want Mira as Mira, not recycling some dead characters. smh

About Lucy and Brandish, hmm logic will tell us Lucy's gonna lose by all and any means. But meh, logic doesnt apply to FT plot so we cant expect anything just yet. And yep, Im sensing Aquarius returning. They're in the bath tub. There's water. Yeaahh. All in all, I only got excited cause of Mira and Brandish. Good luck FT, good luck Hiro.

That's how it boils down in most if not all shounen, its a thing. In terms of power Lucy changes through out the story, starting with the Tower of Heaven arc when she saved Juvia and with her defeated the enemy, Battle of FT she defeated Bixlow and so on up until now when she can fight too, like how she did against Avatar in her Taurus dress. Ft battles (some of them) boil down the one character getting help from another one in order to win, its Hiro's message. Two are much stronger than one etc. And the bond between characters.

Although it goes overly exaggerated sometimes (or often)

Not really depends. But that's the author's message and what he wanted to do in the first place.

Even if Happy did  not point out, you'd still figure it out (unless you are ignorant). Igneel's 'death' really got him and in chapter 417 you notice how he changed, when facing Gildarts he backed down after Gildarts blew up that mountain... which is not really Natsu's thing. igneel was already dead lol

Of course he backed down from gildarts, he already had the whole spiel on this during tenrou island

Things surprising me are the "I enjoy battles that are contest of strength, not ones to the death"

But then previous arc we have natsu treating tartors like a game. Hasn't it always been life or death (from their perspective)
