What arc are we in?



Lucy mysteriously foreshadowing something bad is about to happen...

Mavis appears...

All the guild members just finished training...

Markarov becomes guildmaster again...



Oh we are in GMG... cough... I mean Ragnarok.... the True Dragon King Festival...



This chapter was an ok transition chapter but after two weeks I was ready for more. I'm in school now so I just wanted a moment of joy, but maybe next week we can continue the FT0 stuff which I love so looking forward to it.



I want to know how much Mavis knows... Does she just know about Zeref and his curse or does she know about the dragons, achnologia, layla, END?

Some people will whine about this chapter but it's understandable to make sure everyone (in the story and us who read the story) are up to speed on the origins of fairy tail.



There is absolutely no reason to complain about a FT zero recap, not every FT reader will/have read zero, also the preview hints that alot of hinted things within zero will get clarified. Like the phantom lord part.



I agree. This is like all the shit I read on DB super comments. People mad about the first episodes being a recap of movies but it would make no sense if they skipped them and not everyone in jap has paid money to see the movies but the show airs for free on TV and also people later watching will be lost since they would have to outsource to know what's going on.

I DID read Zero actually, but from what I gathered Mavis becoming 'immortal' was a side effect from using an incomplete version of Law and not being literally cursed by some god.



Maybe that same god gave her the full service for some reason and she decided to seal herself rather than stealing the life of others like zeref does.

That's what i thought, Zeref have goals resurrecting Natsu and same with Mavis, she wants to bring to life Zera, i think this flashback will be covered the time before Natsu bring brack to life by Zeref. Its just what I think and i don't have concrete evidence to support this other than the Zero :).

Yeah yeah, there's still lot of stuff that need to explain, but it will a disappointment if Mashima-sensei put that all together in this one Arc, that E.N.D fightings, Acnologia's Fight and explanation about 400 years in the past.

Yeah you should read the Fairy Tail Zero, it explains why she became a cursed girl.

[And Also, to those asking why now, why did Mavis never appear in those fights, well i think she just watching all the outcome in the shadows and when the FT reborn she can't keep silent about all the happening because it all happens because of what relationship she has to Zeref; again another random thoughts lol]

She was narrating it like how Future Lucy was doing it during GMG and on how Lucy did it on Tenrou island (chp 251).

God damn finally. Didn't like how Zero ended with only explaining how Fairy Tail came to be, not everything between Zero and the main series.

Mavis was cursed with Eternal Life for using the incomplete Law(the magic Zeref taught her) magic to save Makarov's father.


I know, but why reason would zeref want that power? he's already immortal and Mavis' was more of a side effect than a curse.

Mavis could have gotten cursed after she parted ways with zeref, it needs to be strong enough to thwart the invasion too so eternal life won't cut.

The most anticlimactic way to reveal Lumen Histoire....Hiro needs better ways to reveal secrets.



Makarov's the master again, Natsu stating the most obvious truth of this manga,

can't tell if this dialogue is meant to be serious or just plain laughing in the face of readers. Aaaaanyway, let's see where this goes.
