Inb4 anyone says "It's because she's Erza", you should know by now that the majority of the time, Erza's increase in power is usually expressed through the use of a new armor that she's shown off.  This chapter though, she instantly summoned 3 swords from her Requip dimension and fired them at Ajeel. To me it seems like her activation time has decreased so she can change and adapt to battles even quicker, but that's just me.



Rant Mode: On



Over time I've come to dislike Erza as a character and there's a good reason for it. The problem is that Hiro relies heavily on the initial impression that Erza left when she first appeared, and that's a big mistake.



People would most likely expect her to be able to stand her ground against anyone, but when the Tower of Heaven arc broke her character down more, it showed you her in a different format and she lost that lone badass feel she had before that. You can see the effect that arc has had on her throughout the rest of the series, most notably in their fight against Hades on Tenroujiima.



I wouldn't say that I outright dislike Erza, it's just the way that Hiro has built on the character the wrong way. I can't even enjoy any of her fights anymore because all that sticks in my mind is "It's because she's Erza"



Rant over.I kinda want Erza to get her ass kicked atleast once in this anime. And this isnt related, but i have yet to see Natsu get scared of an opponent like he did against Gildarts at tenroujima...so what was the point of even showing him fear if he never gets scared.

Natsu overcoming adversity and some huge threat, that entire scene represented the entire theme Hiro was going for that arc. You're acting like this ruined something important but it really didn't, Avatar was always meant to be fodder.



You just refuse to see the whole picture and insist on that single argument when I´ve clearly explained. "I know that. All of the Avatar arc was genuinly well handled imo. I just think that last part was major trolling from Hiro and horrible written. Because of above mentioned reasons.



I thought the one shot punch to a "SUPPOSED" god fits right in with the theme of Fairy Tail. It had literally one chapter cliff hanger hype from a no name character people will barely remember, so it's no big loss that the fake god was defeated so easily.

Well wind VS Sand is not the worst match up for Wendy. If she can blow all his sand away far enough they should be able to flee.



It will be a group battle the goal is to get away. If Wendy can deflect the sand natsu and Ezra hold him down and natsu land the blow to stun. They need to get back before backup arrives for ajeel.

Edit: A team has had 2 arcs now to showcase their new abilities and weve only recently got a glimpse of laxus and co so again b team coming to bail them out would be the perfect if not ideal fairy tail entrance for them

Nope. They manage to escape Azir but they end up followed by the Alvarez invasion back to Ishgar. They make it to the guild and then when the army comes then Team B shows up.



Makes much more sense than having them show up in this battle



They better show up and soon cuz I'm pissed that the B team has so far just been fan service. Especially when overall they r more badass and have better fights than team natsu (IMO). Also B team would be way better than team natsu at infiltration since team natsu just has the child like, let their emotions control them type people, I mean if they can't do it with mest who can munpulite memories and infiltrated the magic council and fairy tail while infiltrating the magic council then that says something. On the other hand the B team doesn't really cause ruckus and can actually think then act.
