Fairy Tail Chapter 446 Discussion

I rather not have them fight, since it seems too soon for a fight. Also they're on the enemy territory and they have more man power. Regarding the ship, it maybe can camouflage itself? Would seem 'cheap' but it's better than being there and not getting noticed by the empire.

Nakama Power is just too strong. Still it was cool seeing Gray and Lucy transform like that!

I bring One Piece up alot because I hate the One Piece fanbase that gives Fairy Tail shit when they do literally the same writting.

If you know my posts, you should know how much I loath the outcome of that fight and with what fiery passion I hate big parts of the Dressrosa arc.



I don't follow every post, I remember you mentioning some of that stuff yeah... Anyway the point is that this is not a shocker where a monster/character looks intimidating and turns out to be disappointing.



It's a common trope that has been used in shonen for years. Usually the bigger they are, the harder they fall. In Dragon Ball it was usually the least intimidating enemy that was the most powerful (AKA Freiza, Buu). Fairy Tail has a similar vibe going on with characters like Zeref, who's outside appearance doesn't match up with the most vile dark wizard of all time.

Best solution would be X telling the others to go ahead while he fights him, can be whoever just make it a proper fight. But it´s Fairy Tail and that´s Kishi writing quality. The arc started promising but it´s on his way to it´s midarc headdive.



If he pulls an Igneel and stops the bullshit early it can be salvaged and become a good arc, but Hiro already started the Bs train after promising "alot".

One of the chapter covers showed Natsu's arm had a tatoo. He also grabbed his arm when he saw Brandish. Most people say he's turning into an END or a dragon, but I think its an attack, a final attack, (because he does not know he is END) that he has stored to be used against Achnologia because that's his goal... to get revenge for Igneel not necessarily to defeat Zeref. It would be like the tatoo when Cana uses Mavis's fairy glitter only it reacts to the presence of certain magics or strong magics like Gray's tatoos when he goes DeS.
