Cool to learn more about Lumen Histore. So it seems like some kind of giant magical weapon?
Given this story, I don't think its a weapon, but actually the ultimate source of power for those in Fairy Tail, and by extension all of humanity.
So in the coming war between humans, dark sorcerers and the Dragon King, its the one thing that gives humanity any chance of winning.
But entertaining as always. FT is my favorite of the big 3 (now 2 I guess), I like the change of pacing the show uses, keeps it fun to read.

If this was just another tease for Makarov's death, I'd prefer Jellal rescuing him instead of Mest any time. Think about it, it would be epic to have an encounter between him and Zeref under such circumstances and yeah, it would be more realistic too.
I'm just having a bit of time issue here, Natsu and co. were meant to reach the island in about 10 days or so. Does olympia travel thaaat fast? C'mon! I acknowledge Mest's teleportation speed though, but how the hell did he pinpoint the location at such a precise time? It feels almost as it Mashima was about to pull something epic but his editor cockblocked it as usual..
Given the ludicrous range Natsu has on his senses after the timeskip he probably targetted the palace and told Mest where to go.

Oh seriosuly I bet the reveal is that Makarov is Mavi´s son.
I called that i while back, with Hiro and his Loli fixation.
I just hope he´s decent enough to not go "that" far.
Cause you know guys techincally she was 20 at the time and Makarovs Grandad was only two years older so, there´s that. Please Hiro leave me the little respect I have left of you.

I wonder if Makarov knows that Zeref has met with Mavis before. Also, something that I bever understood is what happened with Mavis after the dragons appeared in the magic tournament, she suddenly disappeared like a ghost (and that's a pun).
