Wanted to give it a 5 got trolled with Makarov 3/5 it is, Final arc confirmed, endgame is assempbled and Zeref talks about doing it.





Good plottwist would be to send the 10 wizards saints and all the Ishgar guilds to fight fodder while every "strong Fairy Tail member get´s a fight vsa General the end.



Natsu 1vs1 vs Zeref good ending.

Makarov being randomly saved by Mest REALLY ruined all the build up of threat from Zeref...

Still doesn´t chasnge anything that Hiro spoiled his endgame with Love is the solution to everything. Lucy guessed it right. The old man who talked during Erza´s flashback was right and every Fairy Tail asspull ever is legit because since love is the fuel to everything it makes perfect sense to it´s narrative.



Ergo no plotholes for Fairy Tail because as long as you believe in love you´ll always win.

this chapter was cool, and the war will start soon i cant wait.

If this was just another tease for Makarov's death, I'd prefer Jellal rescuing him instead of Mest any time. Think about it, it would be epic to have an encounter between him and Zeref under such circumstances and yeah, it would be more realistic too.



I'm just having a bit of time issue here, Natsu and co. were meant to reach the island in about 10 days or so. Does olympia travel thaaat fast? C'mon! I acknowledge Mest's teleportation speed though, but how the hell did he pinpoint the location at such a precise time? It feels almost as it Mashima was about to pull something epic but his editor cockblocked it as usual..
