@G Spark

If you look up "Earth Land" on the fairy tail wiki you can see the Ishgar map.

I would say it has, Zeref can teleport and Acnologia can fly at amazing speeds as a Dragon. For all we know, they probably spend more time in other continents.

Plus when Gildarts was first introduce, and said that he encountered Acnologia, Natsu was rushing to where Acnologia was last spotted by Gildarts, and Gildarts said "He might be gone, flying around the continent or world" or something like that.

Yeah i remember that, Plus Acnologia did take over the world in one timeline.Darklight0303 said:
Also for those who still think this development is out of left field. Go back and reread the fucking manga. The hints are there

This new development is sort of coming out of nowhere. Don't remember any countries other than Fiore ever get mentioned. Still finding it pretty interesting.

There were other countries mentioned, just not other continents.

Makes more sense for there to be other continents than there being none.

@Trentor, Ishgar is the continent Fiore is a country in Ishgar where there is 500 guilds total.

Yeah basically Fiore and the other named countries/kingdom that are on the Earthland map, that was known as Ishgar. And that was a continent.

I vaguely remember Ishgar getting mentioned but I think it probably has been a while.

Wondering if Zeref's influence has reached other continents or if they have people over there that have been cursed like Zeref has.

I would say...Fairy Tail will F*** them up..but seriously...I start to think that they might need Alliance of the Guilds, just like in Oracion Seis Arc, to get even close the Top people of the Arbaless.

if 1 of the War Gods of the Ishgar says that he is nothing compared to people outside of the continent...and he is one of TOP 4 of Wizard Saints...that should tell you just how freaking strong Arbaless Kingdom is.

and as for Zeref...well he is no going to be part of the Story for while...don't you remember...he and Acnologia are going to fight soon...and destroy half of the world when they do fight.

Yeah Arbaless is sure a thing.

It will be an war arc, two countrys in a battle with all they got.

But I don't fear so much about the Gods of Ishgar thing, yeah Warrod said there a lot stronger than him in other countrys, but at the same time told that even in Fiore there stronger wizards too. It's to think about Precht for example, he wasn't a wizard saint and much stronger than Warrod, even because Warrod don't know offensive spells.

Jura is one of wizard saints too and was defeated by Laxus. So my point is: okay Arbaless may be really fearsome, but Fiore and their wizards too, the strongests wizard aren't necessarily wizard saints.

So this arc has everything to be awesome!

Yeah and going with this we only know warrod and he doesn't know offensive spells but what about the other 3 who joined the council who knows they may actually be able to live up to their title in offensive spells and warrod will probably be able to pull some favors for the guild he founded.

It's just sad that this massive new enemy they unveiled will probably be crushed by the power of friendship and random power ups.

Super excited to see how Fairy Tail will deal with this new threat. I also wonder who will attack first since Fairy Tail is back.

^Exactly, but different medium allows for different approaches. I find it extremely diifficult to stomach it in manga. Just toss arround the word Lachryma and everything fits. No it doesn't. It stops feeling "epic". I don't mean to sound biased that magic worlds need to be like "this" and "that", but random elements like that don't enrich the world-for me-. They create cultural collision within said universe-again for me.

It depends for me. I initially assumed that Lacryma are some sort of crystal balls that can storage different kind of magic. So you have a crystal ball for each and every use.

What´s confusing though is that it seems that it´s not neccecarily a crystal ball but rather a crytaline substance, then we got revealed it´s not even that because well the Iphone thingy din´t look very crystal like to me.

What always bugged me were computers in the Naruto world, which thankfully kinda got explained through "The Last" apparently chakra is way more versatile then initially explained  and it works similar as to how puppets can be controlled so that´s an explanation for Pcs and similar stuff.

Regarding Fairy Tail it actually all made sense untill now and most of the time it´s just convenient writing, which doesn´t break the immersion for me since they tend to explain it with excuses like, it´s that new invention or it´s super rare and expensive and only a limited amount of people has acces to it.

For example only I think 10-20% of the Fairy Tail world are even capable of using magic

so many devices that require magic power to fuel for example are not usable by them.

Simply spoken it is a boring world to begin with with 20% exciting parts that we get to see.

I always taught lacrima just stored magic for just power, like how we use electricity, and that anyone even non wizards can use lacrima devices because they already have magic power in them whIke other technology, like the vehicles, can only be used by wizards because they need magic power but have no larcirma in them so they need wizard to transfer their magic power in order to run. I thought this was proven true in Edolas where even though no one had magic they could use magic by storing it in lacrima to power stuff.

So after the previous arc was aborted and truncated we are getting into this whole "another country" thing.

Still strange that we NEVER heard of them before nor that there was a freaking invasion attempt before. Feels very clunky and unlike the previous reveals that were pretty well foreshadowed. Will Natsu oneshot an entire country now?

I am intrigued by the next chapter title though. Is that country run by a god or something? Are we going to get more lore on gods now and why they are nigh non-existent in Ishgar? or will she be a let down like the "war god" was?

Alvarez was not foreshadowed but its strength was. When warrod said that he couldnt compete with wizards from other continent he might be referring to this. Besides, it takes ETHERION and FACE to stop this kingdom.

AND Natsu oneshotted a Yakuma Battle God (so dont give it THAT war god treatment). Since kagura had also deflected an attack from Minervas version, it makes perfect sense.

THe plot thickens and I fuckin love it. Now the doomsayers who were all "OOOO FT IS ENDING FOR SURE SOON!" can shut the fuck up

Dude exactly my thoughts as well. So glad we got this development and the people that thought Tartarus Arc was the peak can finally just move on.

Some may have said that Fairy Tail was near the end, it seems that this will be continued for quite a time. This new arc might be interesting but can also, if badly executed, be really bad.

Wait & See.
