Fairy Tail Chapter 428 Discussion

Natsu underestimated his opponents... He really should have finished them off or put chains in them. We still don't know for how long Natsu and Gray have been fighting. That probably gave them time to awaken and for the reinforcements to appear.



That girl's dark magic...she attacked Lucy's organs. That's dangerous...but what is the catch,I wonder.



Well,it's pretty clear from today's chapter that Gray doesn't want to involve the rest of the guild in this,and intentionally acted like a dick.  



When Lucy exploded on him,for an instant,he stopped that stare of his. Maybe if Lucy continued,she could have convinced him. Well,Gray's attitude will have the opposite effect. Well,i hope that Natsu kicks his ass while he is at it.



Code blue...I imagine that the council finally move? Well,Levy could have been keeping in contact with the rest of the guild,I don't know. Or at least keeping in contact with someone like Erza.



Now that we can rest assures that Avatar isn't entirely fodder,it would be best for the guild to back em up,now. Lucy is gonna need moral support. I doubt some pep talk from Natsu can help her.



Despite being chained,Natsu could have probably escaped...had Lucy not been on the floor with a sword next to her head. She will probably blame herself for that. Plus,there is the issue of Gray. It brought about her feelings of loneliness and abandonment when the guild split.



Also,I should have known that levy would have followed Gajeel into the council. Still...what about Droiy and Jet?it would be nice to see what they are doing.

How would you know?

There is no sign of him acting to be evil.

There is also no prove of possession.



The only thing than can be assumed due to the facts we've seen in the manga is that he might have lost his sanity to his revenge (which, by the way, isn't confiremd either. Nevertheless, I'll go with this option.)



All we know is that he is currently evil. Deal with it.

Because that´s typical for Hiro, teasing something to be actually "dark" but in truth it´s simply not.

Remember how Lector came out of Minervas ass into Millianas chest?



Gray is the new Musica, alot of his characteristics have flown into this characters creation even his magic is similar to Musica´s ability.

By the end of the story it will be Gray who will fight right by Natsus side. I am not sure about anyone else but Gray will be his right hand.



See Hiro rarely goes out of his way in redeeming a character, specifically if this character has spilled blood (of good people) he is not redeeming him.

Look at Ultear she basicly sacrificed her life to atone for her sins.

But but Meredy was redeemed! When was Meredy evil to begin with?

What about Jellal Jellal killed Simon!

Oh was there a grave? Or did the guy conveniently fall out of sight so that Hiro could overthink his fate?

Simon is alive, he´ll come back probably with the other 2 boys who are wandering the world after Milliane left them in an empowered mode confronting Erza and Jellal who both will drop down and break out in tears.



Remember when Lissana was confirmed to be dead?

Rogue is the one exception and that´s only the case because he "technically" didn´t spill blood yet.

We know that Rogue became evil after "Frosh" died and he obviously wanted revenge with his darkness awakening probably killing Gray before he could explain to him that "Frosh" wasn´t dead, capable of overpowering Rogue.



BUT ROGUE ISN´T GONNA FIGHT HIM! calm down.

Who is with Natsu and Lucy? Happy is with Natsu and Lucy. What is the purpose of Happy? Right none! Besides transportation.



Somehow along the next chapters Gray will pull a Minerva pretending to kill Happy,but just freezing him or shit.

Natsu will get fiercely mad, remember how Laxus didn´t acknowledge anyone in Magnolia as his enemie when he cast Fairy Law?

Natsu will be aware that Gray won´t kill Happy but we´ll get trolled through Lucy that "he may be truly gone evil"

But in actuality Natsu will just be mad because he even dared to attack a weak fellow FT member knowing full well that Gray didn´t pull through.

Natsu will beat sense into Gray explaining to him that they are a family and they have to face hardships together and not through avoiding his family.



Curently Gray behaves like "Silver" Grays father.

Remember Galluna island? Gray intended to throw his life away (fixing the problem alone).

What did silver want? Sneakingly weaken Tartaros and destroy as many demons as possible by himself.

He didn´t want his son to follow his example but "children are stupid and naive"



There will be a whole chapter just dedicated to explaining why Gray wasn´t bad to begin with and why he turned on them.



Heck I can write the fucking chapter where he comes back expecting to get scolded by Juvia who instead falls down into his arms calling him an idiot.



Gonna dance the called that shit dance when this panel get´s revealed.

I'd rather have Lucy murdered by Happy, than kill Gray, in fact, Lucy dying right now seems like a good idea right now, she's completely holding Natsu back and having him get captured when he could do so much better, you saw him blow people to shit left right and center, and then she gets in the way again... If you ask me she's the Sakura of fairy tail, only difference with fairy tail is the Lucy doesn't get any stronger, just get's more useless.

So grey being an evil bad guy that can fight against Natsu on par ain't the problem at all.

P.S: Double issue doesn't mean that it will be two chapters...but that the chapter released before the holiday will also "count" as the chapter from the week that is a holiday.



In other words,if we are getting two chapters next week,it's because Mashima wants to. Also,it's is true that this we will be getting two chapters each in the 3 weeks after the next one?

Is it 4 weeks of double issues or just 3? That enough time for 2 big fights and a revelation

I guess it was way too early for their epic showdown to begin already but I was soooooo excited for it last week.
