The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Gray probably joined Avatar just so he could locate Zeref,and perhaps find a way to get rid of that black mark that is probably from his devil slaying magic. His stay with Juvia in those six months probably motivated him to do it.



Well,depending on how much Gray knows about E.N.D,I wouldn't be surprised if he attempted to kill Natsu. Would be perfectly reasonable for him and anyone else in his position to decide it's better to kill a friend with his own hands than to risk having the world reduced to ashes.



Plus,I doubt Gray would want to rejoin the guild while his search continues. Natsu will certainly fight him. Him attempting to kill natsu would motivate him into fighting seriously. But,eh,those guys are fiercest of rivals,I don't think they may need this,lol.



Natsu's face shows that he remembered Future Rogue's last words :(...)"Next year(X792,now),Frosch will be KILLED,and I shall be lost to the shadows(...)"



We will finally get to know who that shadow is. Considering it attempted to kill Gajeel despite future rogue having told the princess that fairy tail would win with all it's team intact and that Sting would give up,I doubt that Shadow is really a piece from Rogue. I also hope Gajeel is with sabertooth,so that he gets to finish what he started.



Lucy is still angry about being left behind. Well,I can't blame her since the guild was literally her last emotional crutch,all she had left. She lost everything...her mother,her father,her manor and it's servants and then she lost Aquarius in Tartarus.



Lucy will probably learn to find her own path,instead of clinging to the guild like that. Poor girl,I wouldn't be surprised if she breaks into tears when she figures that she wasn't abandoned and that everyone else was dreaming about returning to the guild during the year they were away.





Darklight,could you behave? I know it's really impossible here in the web,but you could try. Forget about your "homoerotic obsession" with Gray and comment on the chapter.

He left before he was taken over completely most likely. Plus Juvia is not really a threat to whatever his new evil side wants to do. Demons see humans as less than animals. YOu can try finding another excuse if you want. But right now there's plenty more supporting that he's lost control of his power and its warped him.

When the marks appeared on his body it was as if Gray was expecting it to happen. That's when he started going out alone but still returned. Now what would be the point of returning to Juvia after his secret trips if demons see humans as less than animals? Come on put 2 and 2 together. Its obvious Gray didn't want to put Juvia in danger. And this isn't an excuse because it was never implied before that the demon powers of Gray would take over his body. It never happened in finale of Tartarus arc even when he was in extreme conditions so there's no point for it to happen now.



Expecting it. He looked plenty surprised to me. Again the transformation would not be instantanenous. Heck he might have even been blacking out whenever he left Juvia until he no longer woke up.



And again EXPLAIN why the demon mark is spread over his body much more than Silver who has had that power for years. He's lost himself to the power. End of story.

Well I'm super happy that I was right and Gray kept the Devil Slayer Tattoo. I remember arguing months back about this but its great to finally have confirmation. Also loved the little quip from Lucy "That's funny coming from you" towards Natsu, since its clear she isn't letting go of that grudge. Also holy shit Gray's redesign at the end. These Avatars are definitely making me wonder where the plot is heading.

No wayyyyyy! No matter how mamy times (in different mangas) I read the same thing, my heart breaks. The good guy turned bad to end the bad. (个_个)

All the Naruto comparisons, Gray is Sasuke, if that is the case, I have been saying all along Juvia is the Hinata is in the series. When you think of it that way, it is like backwards Naruto.



In the end Hinata got her man, well Juvia get her man, we will see. Though the perception I get from a lot of fans, Hinata and her fan girl stocking is seen as cute and adorable, while Juvia is seen as creppy and obsessed, why is that? What is the difference in those character, is it because Juvia more perverted, well she is older, she is a young adult, while Hinata a teenager. Anyway anyone know?
