Well how convenient for them to appear in the last second...I didn't like that,don't get me wrong though I do like the appearance of the dragons I don't like how they appeared.



Also the big secret that is Lumen Historie been revealed only for Makarov to say "It seems I was one step behind" and not usining it.. tsk!

This chapter...  mind blown..

Hope they come with a good reason for the appearance of all dragons.

It's not gone...for the last time it's just deactivated for now. Look back at chapter 398 specifically. Gray turns the power on and off whenever he needs to.



Why deactivate it when he's about to destroy END? Makes no sense. And once again TATTOO POWERS ARE NEVER PERMANENT in Fairy Tail. This has been the precedent thus far.



A much as I want that to be true, Lucy still had the tattoos and obviously will still have that power.



Sadly Gray's asspull will stay.



On bright side, Gray will be fodderized by End so rejoice.

If Gray in a fight used Fire mage or Water THAT IS CONSIDER AN ASSPULL

1 - Gray's Devil Slayer Magic only activates when he's facing (using magic against) a devil.

2 - He wasn't facing END.

3 - END isn't even a demon right now, it's only a book containing a demon inside (or similar), so DSM wouldn't be necessary to destroy it.

4 - I prove my last sentence by saying that Ignel told Natsu to not destroy the book of END.

5 - I only saw Natsu using Dragon Force at the heat of the moment, dunno if he can use it at will or not.

6 - If he can use it at will, maybe one of the reasons is that he doesn't has Ignel inside him now.

7 - Wendy also activated Dragon Force, don't forget her.

8 - I think that Gajeel also did on the underwater fight, don't remember quite well.

9 - Gray's power up will only be useful against devils.

10 - Regarding Memento Mori, well, Silver was a strong mage, and he passed his power to Gray, and Gray used DSM to absorve the attack, just like Natsu does with fire.

11 - So we can say that while Dragon Slayers absorve elements, Devil Slayers absorve curses (Memento Mori was one), probably... dunno.

12 - Probably all of them will lose their power up at the end of this arc, because of reasons (Gray - no more devils, Lucy - going to "resurrect" Aquarius, Natsu - ???)

That goes against her very character. Sacrificing her friends for power? That's insane. She only did it with Aquarius because there was no other choice. There's no way she will do it again. And no no one else has got a confirmed permanent poiwer up



If Fai agrees with me than my theory isn't so crazy. It's not about what Lucy wants, its what she is going to be forced to do. It might destroy her by the end of the story, but its needed for drama and plot progression.



This is not Akame ga kill. This is the series Mashima started out to rehabilitate himself after the dark turns Rave Master took.  =_= Breaking Lucy to that degree would be horrendously out of character and again she sacrificed ONE key to summon the king. ONCE. The tradeoff is not worth it and what we've seen of her so called powerup with Aquarius CERTAINLY does not justify the cost. Again. Lucy and Yukino are all about their bonds with their beloved spirits. Destroying that bond for the name of power is going far too far. That is not how things are done in Fairy Tail world. Not on the protagonist side. Don't be surprised when your pointlessly dark theories come crashing down in smouldering ruins.



In fact it was not breaking the key that gave her Aquarius' power. It was the SPIRIT KING. You seriously believe he'll keep repeating that every time if she starts spam breaking her keys for power? Seriously? Try and think before you type next time.

Uhuh whatever. You know what I am saying is true. The spirit king would have to give her the magic of the broken keys each time she breaks one and this is fact because once again that temporary boost she got from Aquarius was a gift from the KING. Not a natural consequence of breaking the key.



Breaking the key only summons the king. It doesn't give power. The power was a gift from the King because he cares for Lucy enough to call her Old Friend each time. End of debate.



No its not the end of the debate. I believe this will be a new theme with Lucy, that she will end up having to give up more keys in the future. Its a concept that was introduced and I don't think it will only be used once. And yes, The Celestial Spirit King transferred Aquarius' power to Lucy, what of it? What's stopping him from doing it with more spirits?

Oh well,lumen historie ended up being useless...something's off here.I doubt Mashima would introduce it just for it to be a dud.He did this to buy himself some chapters,he really is keeping it in the hat.



Still,this will buy him  one more month at most.If fairy tail zero is seven/eight chapters at most,then Mashima is waiting for it to end in order to explain what Lumen historie is.



Sting and Rogue's dragons are still alive.Edo tensei,lol?Or did Sting and Rogue fail to even mercy kill them?Just kidding with the last question. I am really curious to seeing them meet again with their dragons.



Igneel used fate's detonation,which probably weakened Acnologia since he was a human and a mage,to wipe the floor with him.Oohhh,he is gonna be mad that a "miserable" dragon defeated him.



How convenient.Natsu was probably going to attack Gray in order to stop him from destroying E.N.D's book.That wouldn't end well,lol.Fortunately Igneel is there to stop Gray from doing it.
