Well that's not entirely true. Future Lucy died :( And a whole mess of people died in that disaster timeline.  Though I do doubt Mashima will kill off Gray.



That'd be a shocker.  Personally I'm more interested in the Gajeel/Juvia/Natsu group. (Hey more chances for Nalu is always good in my book)

Well, he in roundabout way, absorbing Silver ice in this chapter and use it against Silver.



But why it didn't work is still mystery, i wanna say it plot hole or inconsistency, You know what, Natsu use that same tech against Zanchrow and it work just fine even Zanchrow can eat fire even he can't his own fire, isn't it common sense that fire based attack will not affect him??But it works. But why not it's not?? Weird.

Holy damn, Gray is in some big sht now. His magic has no effect against Deliora/Silver. I really like how Gray thought outside the box a ton in this fight. Alas, his opponent is too powerful though. D:

His attacks aren't working.

A decent chapter, looks like Gray is overmatched. If he beats Deloria he would be Ur's level, which would be great character development, don't see it happening. Gray is not going to commit the forbidden spell, someone will stop him, that or he will get flashbacks in his head to Natsu stopping him in Galluna Island.



Next chapter "I Must Not Forget", someone will stop Grey for commiting the forbidden spell, perhaps Lyon. Lyon is going to show up soon, he has to? We already have Sting and Rogue here, now the door is open for any allies to show up.

Gray's performance was really good. like those clever cannons he used while Silver barely had time to avoid. and his durability is very impressive. since he's the underdog,I'm cheering  for him to beat and kick Silver's ass once and for all.

uh yeah, no chance of that happening. and even if he did, it'll be interrupted or he lives while using it and becomes an even more badass OP mage, because you know he is one of the main popular character in the manga.
