Well, he in roundabout way, absorbing Silver ice in this chapter and use it against Silver.



But why it didn't work is still mystery, i wanna say it plot hole or inconsistency, You know what, Natsu use that same tech against Zanchrow and it work just fine even Zanchrow can eat fire even he can't his own fire, isn't it common sense that fire based attack will not affect him??But it works. But why not it's not?? Weird.



Because Deliora already had some resistance against ice. That's why Ul was forced to use her most powerful and dangerous spell. Gray is not winning this solo



Slayers hold their resistance to their respective "element".



Deliora and Zanchrow also got his resistance from slayer type magic.



But "absorb and attack with it" works against Zanchrow.

But now it didn't work against Deliora. That's the main point.

Oi clueless runt. Deliora has weaknesses he can't eat his own ice. not only that but Silver's life force still remains in him. Gray can exploit these, along with a destructive spell to shit on Deliora. His SO release isn't at his limit yet.



Except he just tanked his own ice just fine this chapter or did you miss that page. Wake up and smell the coffee. Gray is out of his league on his own

Ehh. I scoffed when Silver was like "The possibility of you winning is 0%", partly because it's way too obvious that he'll be defeated in the end, regardless of how it happens. 3/5 I guess.

Or Laxus shows up and saves the day by stomping on him, oh wait, the lame curse excuse was specially made for him to stay out of the arc.



Very clever Hiro, very clever, because, judging on their nine demons crappy strength, Laxus would be enough to solo them, meh, only ones good are Deliora, King of Hades and END.



One thing that got my attention though is how Silver had the Gildarts aura around him before we found out he was Deliora, so I expected Gildarts to show up again and possibly spare with him, his beard also bears the same resemblance.



I still don't get why Silver spared Natsu and acted nice towards Lisanna, that part made no sense, if he was Deliora, then he would be cruel, logically, he's saying that he would kill Gray's friends on his own.



Either that or it's obviously not Deliora, that could be a lie as well, I mean..Juvia and Keith were talking about why a Devil Slayer would join a guild full of demons, and he's mentioned as a wizard, even Keith says that his power was recognized, if he was Deliora, then he wouldn't even need to prove his worth because he's part of the Nine Demon Gates to begin with..





I predict some stupidity in the next chapter, Silver seems way out of character, the way he reacts doesn't fit him at all, or I didn't get used to it yet.

Either way, he seems fishy, very odd behavior so I expect more backstory to come, the last page however makes me think that the transformation process is about to begin, but it could just be a mere shadow..We'll see next wekk.

natsu was out of his league when he fought against zancrow. he was getting his ass kicked and overwhelmed. his fire couldn't do shit against zancrow, and it was getting tanked.



same shit could happen here, where gray could win through plot armour.



Natsu emptied his reserve of magic to take in Zancrow's and combine it with his. It's not the same thing at all since gray is only human. Not half demon, not dragon/god or demon slayer. Only human.

I really loved it, but there's not much hope left for gray and it's really sad cos he's one of my favorite characters from ft, i would like it if one of the 'main characters' died,just not gray, i'd rafter have it be erza, but if no one would die that would be better.

he can't use his magic and can't use iced shell cos thats ice and i have a feeling that deliora knows how to conquer the iced shell.

Gray is out of plan -,- i guess someone will come to the rescue...juvia? but i dont see that coming since she's still in a fight with Keith (unless keith let her go or something) I really prefer juvia to come than leon if ever someone will go and help Gray.



just have to wait for the next one...but that next title "you must not forget"

Deliora became stronger since the last time we saw him (In Gray childhood) and now he can even beat Ur. But i think Gray will defeat Deliora "human" form and then (probably) Lyon will show up and help Gray defeat Deliora true form.



You guys think gray is weak? so sad....
