No way he would actually spare one. It would have been interesting to see though whether she is the kind of person to actually make a choice in such terms or just say nothing.

Btw the choice though was something i was uninterested in because Mashima put an unsympathetic old man that only cares about himself with a cute pregnant lady wanting to protect her child. It was really quite a cringe worthy attempt for comparison that makes you just want to choose the old man so you can say fuck you to the author for putting such a thing.

I swear, I already reckon Jackal is the best villain in the series yet. Even if he might become a minor character.

That part with Lucy having to choose between Mikero and the pregnant woman was intense as hell, major props for Jackal as a villain. As for next week's battle, as much as I want Jackal to win, I really don't see that happening (unless Jackal puts a curse on Natsu's back, he can't exactly do anything about that as far as I know). Hopefully he'll flee or something, I don't think I've enjoyed a villain from Fairy Tail this much and I would definitely like it if he would show up more even after this battle.

Awesome chapter. Jackal is such an ass for making Lucy choose which one to save from the bomb. Love how Natsu comes out of no where and smashes him. Enhancement seems very interesting.

was hoping lucy will chose the civilian, that bastard cat piss me off too...
