Hm. I wonder if this possibly has anything to do with the 100 year quest that Gildarts took when he encountered Acnologia. Darklight's theory about the dragon makes sense to me. This definitely seems like magic related to Zeref, with the Deliora similarities.



Maybe I'm just grasping at straws here though, cause  I really want Gildarts to come back lol.
