Wow, Death is so pointless in this manga. Just one deus ex machina after another.

If you don't have the balls to kill off one of your characters for good and you don't want to take your manga seriously, then why should any of us?

as usual, fairy tail vol. sell was better, i guess japan love a manga w/c involve nakama power( i'm also referring to naruto, bleach, etc

Well, It just sucks.

Ultear is DEAD. One of FT's potential trump card is gone. What a horrible chapter. Wasted Ultear's character for almost nothing. Wasted almost a fourth of supposedly FT's combined potential power.

I'm Done, I'm Quitting This Manga for awhile unless Ultear is revived. My Favorite Character is gone so it's useless to continue.

Why did the minute reverse premonition only appear to present itself to the good guys?

I know it was obvious boring bishounen main* Gray wasn't going anywhere and it'd be Ultear that gave up her life for him the previous chapter, yet still, I like to be wrong and witness a suprise. This death and ressurection is nothing but screentime for a character the writer hardly bothers with.

It doesn't change anything for the bad guys. They would see themselves killing their targets. And so still go through with the attack since it would look like it would connect.

It was predictable, it's sad to see Ultear sacrificing herself, how about Meredy? ):

I expected this to happen but an emotional event like this killing off one of  the MC's would have been really good for the story. Showing the despair that derives from war but no we get Ultear time magic, i'm a little disappointed i like Gray and all but i was content with him dying off.

You're content with a MC basically walking into a bar, having a drink, then BAM BAM BAM, getting killed by fodder dragon offspring? Out of nowhere . . . ?

That's what Gray's death would've been, getting shot up by fodder dragon offspring out of nowhere in the last 3-4 pages of a chapter. Not even killed by some kind of boss, or someone the other characters could direct their anger at, but by fodder.

Don't know about you, but I'd be more upset over the absurdity of a main character being killed off in that fashion, than the logical - story based way Ultear was 'killed' off.
