He didn't see that fight. Actually no one but Makarov and Happpy did. While the time he at Laxus' lightning and took it for his own, was witnessed by quite a few people.



ah right. I figured they would've said something about it. Assumed they talked about their fights afterwards. Makes more sense the other way tho

My guess is:



1. 1st generation DS has special ability to absorb/ eat  2nd and 3Rd DS element. . .



2. Maybe gajeel's shadow thing is temporary, , maybe the shadow temporarily overpower gajeel.

3. THE CHAPTER WAs AWESOME

4. I dOn't care the logic behind it.

5. It's n0t a randoM power,mashima please explain it by mavis

It's just that they usually want to stick with their signature magic, and Mashima tries to avoid overlapping characters' magic to keep their uniqueness, think about having too many Ice Makers that are on the same level/style as Gray.



@kiDnameDSkia: Yeah Laxus was already strong before getting the lacryma boost anyway, that's why I said it depends more on base stats rather than the difference between gens.

I love the competition between Gajeel and Natsu, and how they are each other's fuel and also support at difficult times.. and the others', ofc ^^ also, Gajeel is just so freaking BA this episode *.*

It's obvious and the anime makes it even more so by making him have the same VA

I haven't watched the anime in a really long time and he seemed suspicious in one panel.



There's also the second day of the games when Mato was absent while the king attended the games personally.
