It depends more on base stat, Rogue and Sting probably are weak therefore not receive much benefit from the lacryma boost. Now think about Natsu having a lacryma, he then turns into 3rd gen and it's just natural that he's stronger than 1st gen Natsu without the lacryma boost. And of course his DF mode is even stronger if received Etherion/Flame of Rebuke.

I'll join in this. I have a feeling that Laxus already has his second origin unlocked since he is too goddamn strong. ^O^

Laxus is a 2nd generation dragonslayer but his dragon force is weaker than the 1st generation and 3rd generation dragonslayers' dragon force.

In the fight between Rogue/Raios and Sting vs Natsu and Gajeel. Both Rogue's and Sting's dragon force mode is only probably as strong as when Natsu ate Etherion or flame of rebuke before the seven year skip. But Natsu and Gajeel are now both stronger than that after intense training and an unlocked 2nd origin.



I also think that both Rogue and Sting haven't fought anyone stronger than them so they heavily overestimated their abilities.



All in all Raois isn't going to surpass his master this time round. O_o

Fuck logic! Fuck everything! Garjeel Kick ass!! Really love this chapter and is it me or does Garjeel look like Vegeta on the last page? OVER 9000? Now i have something to look forward in the manga ! Garjeel vs Natsu and their second element in play !!!

I think a third faction actively gunning to kill Dragonslayers is equally nice of a plot twist.

He can enhance his flames with any element, as long as he knows how to do so. After having them forcibly enhanced from eating Laxus's lightning, he figured out how to enhance them with lightning and was then able to do it on his own.



Erm, no, then thats like saying Natsu can learn Crash, Requip and Ice Make.



And thats not really "learnt", he was able to use it to its potential at the BEGINNING or during of the battle.
