Putting Miliana in the path of the slash would actually break both Erza and Kagura leaving them easy pickings for Minerva. So I will go with that theory.

I third that opinion. Either that Millianna finally escapes Minerva's bubble or that Minerva is so sadistic enough to put Millianna in the way and then beating Erza and Kagura when they are emotionally wrecked. That would be too cruel though. Erza truly still feels responsible for Simon's death. She goes to save Natsu but instead Simon saves both of them. It's more likely that Erza will end up trying to protect someone e.g Kagura or Millianna from perhaps Minerva. There is however still the chance that Jellal could have gone to save Erza.



At the moment people are commenting how Erza defeated 100 monsters which is my favourite part of Erza's triumphs. She may have the power of a wizard saint, but she isn't the strongest. Taking away Fairy Law, and Fairy Glitter.

Jura, Gildartz, Laxus, Jellal, Kagura, and probably Ultear and perhaps 1 or 2 others are all stronger than Erza. In Jura's and Jellal's match, it's difficult to tell who would have won, even Jellal didn't know. Jura didn't know what Jellal's move Sema was and we don't know its power. In the competition Jura, Jellal, Laxus, and Kagura probably have a similar power level. My feeling is that Jellal and Laxus are both stronger than Kagura and Jura. I think Jura is stronger than most people give him credit for. Makarov is old now. Laxus and Gildartz are probably is stronger than him now. Kagura's is strong but someone looks like they are going to die or at least be close to death. The characters who can't die yet (or can die but have to be brought back alive) are Natsu, Lucy, Gajeel, Wendy, Erza, Happy, and Gray. If Erza dies now which I doubt, she'll come back. Erza can't let herself get killed since Natsu saved her precious life at the Tower of Heaven. Natsu would be pretty pissed if she did.



And seeing as I wrote too much and much of it is full of drab, I'll think I'll stop. ^_^

Well, now that I think about it, Minerva putting Milliana in to take the blow would be a good twist of fate. That would be a bold move.



And it would match her character type to a T the twisted bitch >_>

I will go with Kagura never actually pulling the sword. Very possible Minerva just hit Kagura from behind before she completely pull out her sword.

This post gives me cancer. Ignoring that Jellal sacrificed himself to save in the Tower of Heaven arc, so he has technicalled died once, saved Natsu and helped him defeat Zero, actually went to prison, went around defeating dark guilds for years without any reason to live and with the thought that Erza had died. If anything Jellal is the one who takes punishments the most compared to people like Laxus who made his guild fight against each other and tried to kill the whole Magnolia (no just because he failed and got stopped it doesn't make his crimes less severe) or Ultear whose crimes is on par if not even greater than Jellal (killed Meredy's entire town and possibly lots more off screen) and all she needed to is giving Meredy a hug and everything is done.



And no Ultear and Laxus are also my favorite character, it's just that people's bias against Jellal can be disgusting as some points.

Nuuu Erza lost!? D: Surprised she was over powered so easily.



And damn Kagura was Shimons sister ;o Didn't see that coming.

Wonder what the effect of her unsheathing her sword will be now on them both, guess it has some sacrificial effect.

^it is interesting how little does Kagura know about Simon all in all. If she had a grip of the whole story, this could've been easily avoided. Well, that's Erza stupidity for conversing about it on the field.



Erza being the main character and all that, it's obvious to think she should survive but...It would be kinda awesome if she died, in a way. Her character was build up, we know everything about her and there's absolutely nothing new she can offer. She has second origin, and considering even the reason Kagura stated it's obvious there's nothing else to Erza...I think killing Erza would make a good move for the manga in general, regardless of me being a great fan of her 2 and all of us loving her; just my thoughts.

That would accelarate the 'power' hidden within Natsu even more ^^

Oh wow, that chapter was intense! O.O Kagura is frighteningly strong.
