He didn't overpower Rufus though. He broke his focus and was faster but overall power he wasn't above Rufus.



Actually he did. There was a momment where Rufus tried to melt the ice and he failed, simply because Gray has been sparring against Natsu's flames since kids.

Ahh, true that. Thought that Ice Bringer was supposed to have survived through the fire and not that it was made at the last second. Maybe so. One way or another he won, and outdoing him in terms of speed is equally good to me that outpowering him straight out.

Agree Kanic, too short, should have been 2 chapters imo, but I guess for story progression they need to keep fights short and sweet. And it was pretty sweet, probably Grey's best moment in the series. Poor Rufus got owned. :D



It'll look cool animated, but the fight is going to be something like 30 seconds LOL. Well not literally, of course they'll probably add parts in to make it a bit lengthier, should be good.
