He didn't overpower Rufus though. He broke his focus and was faster but overall power he wasn't above Rufus.

^ and Laxus is on rampage mode, he even blocked Rufus lightning instead of absorbing it :D

This chapter did feel alittle rushed... sorta wish there was more to the Grey vs Rufus battle.

This chapter just reminded me of Kingdom Hearts Axel.

Now I want to see Gray fight Lyon.I mean,Lyon should be around his level of strength,and Gray isn't on a perfect condition now,so it would be a good challenge for him.And,the only time the two disciples of Ur fought was back at Galune Island,seeing them fight now would be pretty awesome.I'm a fan of all these Ice makers :D



Now I'm looking forward to Gajeel vs Rogue,which seems more probable to happen than GrayvsLyon.I'm also getting more excited about Orga vs Laxus.We all know Laxus will win,but Orga's magic does seem challenging for him.

Okay, so Gajeel has to CURB-STOMP the two Dragon Slayers.



I want Juvia to have her moment too!



I wouldn't be surprised if Juvia teamed up with Gray in another battle, since I can't imagine Gray being eliminated even after defeating Rufus.



OR, Juvia and Gray start off by double-teaming someone, and (God Forbid) Gray becomes incapacitated somehow (in some sort of comic-relief bit involving the two), AND THEN JUVIA GOES COMPLETELY APE ON THE SORRY SUCKER FOR HARMING HER MANZ!
