Lucy might as well be half-dragon. Mashima drew HEAVILY from FF6 designing the storyline and Lucy is clearly Terra, While the Knight Dude is Gestahl(as in "aww I want peace and to help the world...ooops nope I am powerhungry maniac who wants more power)I belive lucy is half dragon,:D that means lucy not weak at all(she has not awaken her powers you can say) I hope if lucy is a half dragon and jude not really lucy father that would be cool to find out.and maybe layla was piggo befor she meet jade and he just stayed by her side.and raised lucy like his own daughter.



Now that we learned that Dragonslayers can become dragons, its not so stupid to think that dragons can assume human form.



I would not be surprised if the dragon who started the whole "coexistance with humans" idea was Layla.

Oh yeah. And with revelation that DS magic evolution is to turn its user more and more dragon like, again I call it: Natsu is either a Dragon (son of Igneel?) turned human, or he will become a dragon through this evolution later on. :D

Acnologia is the king of dragons? Can't wait to see what kind of connection he has to the dragons we know.

its amongst extra material from one of previous volumes(31st? I don't remember which one exactly), alongside most of character sketches. Most of them were used but the  
bandaged Gellal in a a wheelchair never happened. The newer spoilers about Lucy came also came as extra in a previous volume.



And you can clearly see
claw marks on his face in one of those sketches similar to Levy's.



Maybe Jelal will become crippled at the end of the series. I think he would accept it as a punishment for himself. Though I have to admit that I thought Mystogan(and therefore Jelal) was based on Shadow. There was a character named Shadow, right? I remember a ninja-like character who had a dog as his best friend cuz his human best friend died ,...or sth, MAN I remember almost nothing

Dat lucy ass panel... Mashima sure knows how to draw the attention of the readers despite the chapter being all talk.



Anyways, Im really glad we got this kind of chapter. A lot of explanation happened. But also opens up a lot of question. Acnologia is not the only dragon slayers that killed Dragons right? Is it possible that Sting and the whoever dragon slayer in the sabertooth is saying the truth? That they killed the dragon that teached them dragon slaying magic? And I wonder if there's a Dragon Slayer of the Jade...
