Pretty sure I just read the plot for Skyrim.
Or world of warcraft.
Or Dragon Age Origins, a game the idea of which Skyrim ripped off.
Or about a million of dragon fiction fantasy books that came out over the years and detailed some dragons of apocalyptic proportions(Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern, B.Hambly's Winterland books which is all about Dragons, GRR.Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, etc etc etc).
Dragons being associated with end of era, changing times, apocalypse, gods, etc, etc, etc is VERY common theme of fiction
Finally a proper distinction between inspiration and rip-off. 10 years from now when another dragon manga will be making it's debut people will say that it will be copying FT.
Anyway, the fact that the jade Dragon died 400 years ago must mean that the possibility of a Jade DS is fairly low (if not 0). Pity.
The REAL question that will be answered shortly is this:
Why did the Arena have to be on top of the Graveyard? There have been clear indications that building cities through Magic alone is something superficial. Are they drawing magic from the Graveyard somehow? Or are they feeding Magic to it
through the battles(remember Arcadios saying: "sth sth starts to rippen").
So we have a 3 different situations that we don't know how connect with each other: The Gate, The Arena and The Graveyard.
dont forget about lumen histoire :D i forgotten what happened in the before chapters but i think the arena being built on the graveyard would likely be needed to make the eclipse plan work or something? but hey we dont know shit all about it xD
To nitpic, the grave isn't under the arena, its more like, behind it. Its was on the outskirts of the dome.
I think power is being drained from the participants and audience and the fruit is starting to ripen, was just Dios referring to Lucy-Sama.

Oh dear I wonder if this means anything
About the Arena: Actually if you look at the design of the structure it really looks like a GIANT seal.
I was planning to do that, lol.
Natsu, unintentionally recreated a scene from his past life.
A giant seal? I never looked at it like that before. Highly probable. It could also, technically be part of the eclipse gate.
