^Indeed, LIMITLESS!

Here's something I whipped up quickly(that's a lie. It took some time)

I'm no pro, but I don't care, nor do I want to get better

Summoning The Troll Master!

Zeref and Acnologia had opposite goals. Zeref wanted to secretly kill all the Dragons, Acnologia, "the strongest DS" wanted to live on peace with them.

Zeref, in anger, started the rebellion against the Dragons on their side. The Nirvit tribe, in an attempt to stop him, used Nirvana. All Zerefs darkness was absorbed but then fell upon them and unfortunately on Acnologia as well.

Thus, the strongest DS, become the Dragons' worst enemy. He then viciously killed Humans and Dragons alike.

Zerefs initially betrayal led him to be known as the most evil mage in history.

/lol theory.

I wasn't really meant to include Acnologia in this theory but the momment Zeref showed and started speaking of the importance of life I thought "really? this is the guy who plunged the world into chaos and summoned countless demons?"

I wonder if the Slayers are going to use their magic cautiously now. Clearly none of them want to change.

I also just remembered Nirvana. The Nirvit incident also occurred 400 years ago. They were the neutral party, not participating in the war. I wonder if that'll get any spotlight again.

Pretty sure I just read the plot for Skyrim.

Or world of warcraft.

Or Dragon Age Origins, a game the idea of which Skyrim ripped off.

Or about a million of dragon fiction fantasy books that came out over the years and detailed some dragons of apocalyptic proportions(Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern, B.Hambly's Winterland books which is all about Dragons, GRR.Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, etc etc etc).

Dragons being associated with end of era, changing times, apocalypse, gods, etc, etc, etc is VERY common theme of fiction

Finally a proper distinction between inspiration and rip-off. 10 years from now when another dragon manga will be making it's debut people will say that it will be copying FT.

Anyway, the fact that the jade Dragon died 400 years ago must mean that the possibility of a Jade DS is fairly low (if not 0). Pity.

The REAL question that will be answered shortly is this:

Why did the Arena have to be on top of the Graveyard? There have been clear indications that building cities through Magic alone is something superficial. Are they drawing magic from the Graveyard somehow? Or are they feeding Magic to it

through the battles(remember Arcadios saying: "sth sth starts to rippen").

So we have a 3 different situations that we don't know how connect with each other:  The Gate, The Arena and The Graveyard.

dont forget about lumen histoire :D i forgotten what happened in the before chapters but i think the arena being built on the graveyard would likely be needed to make the eclipse plan work or something? but hey we dont know shit all about it xD

To nitpic, the grave isn't under the arena, its more like, behind it. Its was on the outskirts of the dome.

I think power is being drained from the participants and audience and the fruit is starting to ripen, was just Dios referring to Lucy-Sama.

Oh dear I wonder if this means anything

About the Arena: Actually if you look at the design of the structure it really looks like a GIANT seal.

I was planning to do that, lol.

Natsu, unintentionally recreated a scene from his past life.

A giant seal? I never looked at it like that before. Highly probable. It could also, technically be part of the eclipse gate.

Interesting, interesting and interesting!  Really looking forward to more revelations, I can always count on Fairy Tail every week.

Keep it up, Mashima!

Oh yeah, that Dragon was a bro ^^.

Just going to throw this idea out there.

Natsus dragon was the 1 who started the war.

After the war, they probably noticed the Acnologia was getting rid of the others so they trained some humans and left

Not sure if anyone remembers this but episode: 48 Chapter:101 or something.

Igneel was seen speaking to Grandeeney (Wendys dragon) which already suggest that all the dragon slayers Natsu meets will be connected to Igneel.

Anyway, Grandeeney had said, "All that is left for us is to believe in the human's own power ... and in Zeref... I look forward at the day we meet at the Dragon King's feast."

I don't think Zeref is bad. Seems he's  on the good side maybe.

Wasn't something mentioned about acknologia not talking to humans because they were below him? He was a human! Also, so if Natsu keeps stronger he'll be a full dragon. Maybe that's the only way to defeat the black dragon, with another dragon slayer turned dragon. This could be why zeref wants natsu to defeat him.

Yep.I would say Acnologia is just insanely killing everyone, but I do think he has a reason. And yeah,I think that's what Zeref wants from Natsu too.

Anyway,re-reading chapter 250 now,Zeref talks about Acnologia:

"Acnologia calls for a change of era...from your wicked thoughts that you named it."  - Does Acnologia have a reason for acting like he does? How is Zeref connected to him?Why did he end up on Tenrou island after all?

Revelations, revelations, and now we finally know why Zeref is emo, the history of Acnologia, and why dragons teach humans dragon-slaying magic! Though I would've preferred the answers being given over the course of the series instead of all in one chapter, I'm not going to nitpick :v
