I hope there's a brief story behind it

I knew it. Complete bullshit. When I first read they were going to shoot that Atherion thing I knew some really stupid bullshit was coming. The author is an idiot. This whole arc he put them in a situation that was completely inescapable and what do you know? They escape with no kind of reason to be found. I think the author thought this whole concept was going to be cool and epic and etc ect until he realized he put the characters in a really stupid scenario and tried to back track his way out of it. I have no doubt in my mind this isn't how he wanted it to turn out. He never wanted to even risk Erza like this. The sad thing about this is that it happens in shounen titles ALL the time. There is always some unexplained power up or someone narrowly evade death with no explanation. I really understand why people hate shounen now

yeah she would have been the first character on the good side to die. well the funeral scene was very touching, but i wish we could have seen how natsu saved her. is it me or did it almost look like she was going to kiss natsu at the end.

Quite an emotional chapter!

Good thing she didn't died either...  :P

But, what happened to Sieglein and Zeref's spirit?

Anyway, this is 100th chapter! nice ;)

meh i didn't wanted erza to die so I'm ok with this.

but i do expect some sort of explanation on the next chapter or two.

Best chapter in fairy tail! I love it! So touching! ;_;

I'm really tempted to blast Mashima for doing something as cheap as Erza magically surviving that ordeal, without even an explanation. but since this happened in a milestone chapter, Mashima gets a reluctant congrats from me.  

well she's alive... i really hope new plot will be more interesting, and new villains, you know... more strong and villainy?

I will not even say this ending was predictable (it ws so obvious), but i found it an pretty good ending for such an meh arc...



I hope the next one will be better :)
