I agree. This should he Erzas shining moment. But you never know. She could come in and finish him off.

Natsu to the rescue!  Though I don't think this will be a final fight, I hope it's good because most of the battles in this arc - save for Lucy's and Lluvia's - weren't all that great.

Unfortunately that's the typical shounen stupidity. Always the main guy has to beat the top bad guy. Shounen never allow the others to get the bigger glory.

Just hoping that by some way Erza will give the final strike.

I really won't like it if Natsu manages to beat Gerard... by any logic it should be Erza. But for the sake of the plot I really hope someone will revive Zeref.
