And were hit with another plot twist and a damn good one at that. I liked this chapter a lot. I was expecting Loki to be the pretentious one and Karen as the one who tried to hold him back. I thought that Karen's death was caused by Loki's selfish reasons but that wasn't the case at all.
Hmmm....I have mixed feelings about this chapter. Having Karen being the mean one seemed like the easy way out for the mangaka to take and not really put any of the blame on Loki, if that is indeed, the true story, which I'm sure its not. Having Loki actually kill his past summoner would have a bit more flair to it, in my eyes anyway. Nevertheless, it was okay I suppose.
I suppose that a Stellar Spirit killing his/her Master would add more shock value. However Loki wasn't exactly vindictive of Karen, he was merely protesting Karen's treatment of Stellar Spirits, in this case Aries.
