Fairy Tail Chapter 73 Discussion

Good chapter.  I'm glad Loki didn't actually kill her master, it was her own fault really for going on a mission without being able to defend herself.

I'm guessing Lucy will find some way to make a contract with Loki as a stellar spirit so he can stay at Fairy Tail with everyone.

And were hit with another plot twist and a damn good one at that. I liked this chapter a lot. I was expecting Loki to be the pretentious one and Karen as the one who tried to hold him back.  I thought that Karen's death was caused by Loki's selfish reasons but that wasn't the case at all.

Hmmm....I have mixed feelings about this chapter.  Having Karen being the mean one seemed like the easy way out for the mangaka to take and not really put any of the blame on Loki, if that is indeed, the true story, which I'm sure its not.  Having Loki actually kill his past summoner would have a bit more flair to it, in my eyes anyway.  Nevertheless, it was okay I suppose.

By the way, past Loki looked badass.

Thing is though Loki says "he can't go back to the spirit world" since he committed a crime. Though if he's never tried to go back, so who's to say there would be no problems. The spirits at the time knew their master was treating them wrong. Another thing, is it stated that there are more then 1 key for each of the zodiac spirits or would it be to fight another summoner who has that specific key for the zodiac?

I am actually hoping they invade the stellar spirit world to find someone like "the king of spirits" and convince him :P

ARIES-CHANNNNNNNN xD

ARIES-CHAN xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I'm just wondering if the manga-ka intentionally made her of the female gender. Its just that Aries is supposed to be Masculine and Capricorn is the feminine one.

I suppose that a Stellar Spirit killing his/her Master would add more shock value. However Loki wasn't exactly vindictive of Karen, he was merely protesting Karen's treatment of Stellar Spirits, in this case Aries.

I lol'd a bit at this, couldn't help it..

....this dirty mind of mine.. =(

LOL I thought the same thing.. XD

As for the actual chapter, though, I thought it was good. I posted in the previous chapter discussion that I thought he blamed himself for her death, and tada, I was right. I think Lucy's gonna try making a contract with him... But does he have the key..?
